I’m afraid many many people get callbacks and to attend the funding audition you have to *register* for a place at the school and pay a fee of about £150 I think. Sorry if I’m the barer of bad news. Last year 56 got acceptance letters places for MDS and only about 13 MDs were actually given and all to year 7 this year I believe there are few MDS as they don’t have the same amount each year, a odd few were offered small part bursaries compared to previous years. Filling this form in doesn’t confirm that you’re choosing The Hammond and definitely confirming that your child would like the place does it? And is it asking for payment of any money? My DS is presently a year 11 at the school and has thoroughly enjoyed his time there and the training. He believes there are quite a lot of MDS places in his year which will be reallocated to new students ...... so good luck with funding auditions.
