They were. Their names were reduced to Chepuss and Lulu. -
Ballet-inspired pets' names

Mine have had history inspired names instead - Blanchette, Minette, Cesare and Lucretia. -
Did anyone see Anna Rose O’Sullivan on Instagram brushing her parents new paint or wall paper with her arabesque the other day? It was funny.

To The Pointe's 'My Top 5' series

Alina as always is my favourite as Giselle but I also was impressed by the dancer from the Dance Theatre of Harlem. -
I don’t get on very well with bleach plus it’s incredible ability to drip and remove colour from anything it contacts puts me off it.

I was running out of Dettol Spray and it’s unobtainable locally and on Amazon whilst the most appalling price gouging is happening on EBay and I refuse to entertain the ludicrous prices that they are charging. Muttering to myself “I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere else in the house!” I went on an expedition. I found a full bottle in the garden room and two half bottles in the bathroom. Why I had bottles in either place is an unsolved mystery but I was very pleased to find them and rather happy.

That’s my favourite by him. Thank you and rest in peace, Bill.

I wish my eldest daughter was locked down. She does a desk job in the local hospital. It’s always stressful and yesterday they had their first confirmed Covid19 case. Please be safe, everyone. x

I used to feel the same way about him, @gillm, but I think his performances are more nuanced and have more depth and character than formerly.- 649 replies

Coronavirus and its impact on schools etc. in UK
Fiz replied to Pas de Quatre's topic in Doing Dance
I understand, @Bluebird22. One of my ballet teachers used to say that that the children she taught were like her own family. -
Let’s put Covid-19 in there, please!

We were discussing train links and the lack of them on a Doing Dance thread earlier, Alison.
-
@NJH I only said “I don’t think it is actually in operation”. There’s no need to be so sarcastic.

Dr Alex Beeching for eviscerating our railways and cutting whole swathes of countryside off from the rest of Britain plus those who gave him the brief and voted it through.
-
It’s only been promised - like so many things - and I don’t think it’s actually operating yet. Our latest train back from London is 7.30. Can I put Beeching in Room 101?

Lincoln too.
