If I had unlimited cash, I would chose the Ball and Muntagirov debuts too, Ball because I think he would really do an excellent job and Muntagirov because I would like to see what he can do. It’s bonkers!

My youngest daughter is now thirty. She had stopped ballet as after starting school she was too tired to go. A few months later I found her sobbing as she watched a segment of Blue Peter which featured ballet. I asked her what was wrong and she admitted that she really missed ballet. So back we went for the next 13 years. She still dances for fun and in amateur dramatic shows.

I have never forgotten that stupid, drunken, lecherous look he gave “Mitzi Caspar”. The first time I saw him dance a leading role, I thought he needed acting lessons. I certainly don’t think that now.
