(Incidentally, I notice that this photo shows the same moment at which the Manon insight I'm watching on YouTube freezes. I've seen them live a few times but I most think of them as a dance couple in a BBC film about preparations for the Nutcracker - Frankie's first Sugar Plum - and Alex was so calm, kind and supportive of her, like a big brother (of the best kind!). Along with the serene Lesley Collier coaching and grand-fatherly Sir Peter Wright looking on, it was a wonderful antidote to the stories of poisonous behind the scenes ballet relationships peddled in some films of the time. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Christopher Saunders is listed as a client! I may not have attended every performance but I don't think he's been one of the Clients since.....the last millennium?? He's been doing GM for a long time. Wonder if this is a Specially Assembled Cast among the regular cast. 😀 What with Yuhui as the Mistress as well. I was almost expecting to see "roomie" Vadim Muntagirov in the cast after that!
