To be honest, I think that's an incredibly small set of people. -
This is definitely not something O'Sullivan has just learnt in the last two weeks.

Royal Ballet 2017 Spring Casting

Not casting, but the new Crystal Pite finally has a name: Flight Pattern. -
I thought Forskitt's Carabosse was excellent when I saw it last week. However, after I tweeted about her "debut" she messaged me to say she had done it before (which triggered the appropriate memory...). Still, rather embarrassing for me!

Audience Behaviour
bangorballetboy replied to Jan McNulty's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
How rude and presumptive to suggest that only you know something and that the rest of us are complete ignoramuses. You might think you are better and cleverer than other posters, but I can assure you it is very much not the case. -

I checked at every SB show last week (5 shows) and the house lights were not raised for the act 3 prelude (though the curtain was lit). I too am aghast at the idea that people think it's acceptable to talk over the orchestra playing. -
Stix-Brunell (whom Sim pointed out above was scheduled to dance the Lilac Fairy tonight) is also off, due to injury.

Current pound coins will cease to be legal tender.
bangorballetboy replied to Lisa O`Brien's topic in Not Dance
The Bank of England have already said (2 days ago, I think) they're not changing the polymer and the new £10 notes will be made of the same polymer. -

Maybe when people stop trying to produce counterfeit currency. -

This was announced about 3 years ago so they've had plenty of time to sort out the machines. -
New Twyla Tharp for the RB?
bangorballetboy replied to Jane S's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
I don't know every one of Haydn's 104 (or 108, if you include some that aren't numbered) symphonies in detail, but I'm pretty sure none of them have five movements. Also, I don't know any that last much more than 30 minutes (most are around the 20 minute mark). -
I'm pretty sure that in recent times that has not been the case.
