2011. As I've mentioned elsewhere on this forum a number of times, O'Hare said at the press announcement for the season ensuing that Cinderella will be back in the near future and probably redesigned. -
MacMillan clash ROH November 1st?
bangorballetboy replied to Geoff's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
All of the Swiss Church insights clash with something in the Clore. I just had to make up my mind as to what I would be happiest missing. -
Thoughts for the People of Finsbury Park
bangorballetboy replied to Jan McNulty's topic in Not Dance
Let's remember that this matter is sub judice and that the determination as to whether or not the perpetrator is a terrorist will be made by a jury. -

In case anyone is interested, Alessandra Ferri was presented with her National Dance Award for Best Female Performance (Classical), for her performance in Woolf Works (the first time round) after the performance last night.

I agreed entirely.

Your stats are very much at odds with those produced by the Office of National Statistics. Also, you miss out the statistic that the perpetrator in the vast majority of child abuse cases is a family member or friend - interestingly for psychological abuse the figure for girls is 42% mother and 33% father and for physical abuse, 33% mother and 36% father. Your statement about "masculinist assumptions" is simply laughable.

It's likely the salesperson doesn't have the authority to deal with this sort of thing. I would suggest contacting the Virgin Trains complaints or customer relations department and I'm sure it will get sorted.

I'm not saddened at all; the wigs were an unnecessary distraction and it's fantastic they're gone.

This is a co-ordinated approach to improve road safety and I, for one, applaud it. In a number of boroughs all roads are 20 mph so it's probably easier to assume that's the limit unless there are signs saying otherwise. IMO a motorbike doing more than 20 mph in heavy traffic is a danger in any event.

Performances in the U.S.A.
bangorballetboy replied to Ivy Lin's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
Of course that's a matter of opinion. I found it generally dull (not enough ideas to fill the full length), unmusical and choreographically and stylistically too close another piece already choreographed to that music. The main redeeming factor for me was the performance of the individual dancers (including, without limitation, the two you named). -
It's not a live feed, as I've noticed slight differences between what's on stage and what's on screen.

From what I hear from those who attended and enjoyed, I don't think debacle is the correct word. The leading lady was taken to hospital suddenly and with no cover available, the remaining cast did a concert of highlights and all patrons received a refund. These things happen and it sounds like ROH dealt with it in a decent manner

According to Scarlett at a recent event, the piece was created on Yanowsky.

That is incorrect. I have traveled abroad many times to watch football matches and have not had to provide my passport details. Also, do you not thing restricting someone's movements might give the game away that they are under surveillance? You might as well just lock them up without charge (and we all saw just how successful an idea that was in Northern Ireland in the 1970s & 80s).
