  1. I have worn t-shirt and shorts in the grand tier, so please don't feel you can't wear jeans in the stalls circle!
  2. Maybe it's my age talking, but I don't understand why what people wear to the ROH or any other venue should be of any concern to others, provided their clothes are clean. People should be comfortable in themselves and, to me, that's what important.
  3. I don't see why, noting the number of ladies who dance Nikiya and Gamzatti in the same run.
  4. So did I but I couldn't find anything last night to confirm why I thought that.
  5. I have one spare ticket (SCS D26) for 19 June - face value is £11.
  6. Last night was Lauren Cuthbertson and Matthew Ball being coaching by Alezander Agadzhanov in Marguerite & Armand (Rob Clark on the pianoforte). It was terrific, he's a great coach and the dancers made a wonderful, instinctive couple who have made me now look forward to seeing M&A. I'm afraid it wasn't filmed.
  7. Scored 30 goals for the mighty blues. There'll be a tremendous ovation in his memory at the Bridge on Sunday.
  8. I’m not a great fan of the Martin Yates orchestration that the RB currently uses. The tunes were sourced by Hilda Gaunt and she should get a mention here (and plenty of credit) - Lucas did the arrangements but she did the legwork (so to speak).
  9. They weren't silent when I arrived for that concert. When offered a leaflet that evening, I declined and reminded the lady that it was a memorial concert so perhaps they took it on board then. I am also fed up with the noise, which hurts my ears when queuing to enter the ROH. The noise can be heard from Drury Lane!
  10. I have SCS D26 available for Tuesday evening (as I've got myself a cheap seat). Face value is £6 and it's an eticket. Please PM if interested.
  11. He was being incredibly rude about the orchestra and that was the final straw for me.
  12. I've had something similar when sitting in the front row and I turned round and loudly told the gentlemen he was talking absolute balderdash. He said: "Well, that's your opinion" and those near me in the front row signaled their appreciation of my intercession!
