    Where is the best place to buy a nice tutu? It's not for a competition, just to have some photographs taken. Would ideally like to go and try on as I can see you can buy lots online but I'm not sure of size. Thanks. Edited to add : we're in South Derbyshire.

    MDS Funding

    I'm wanting to find out more information about the MDS award. Is it a case that if your DD is good enough/gets a place and you fall into the category to be eligible for a MDS award - you get it? I can't believe that it's that easy. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before - I have done a quick search which now means that I know the difference between MDS and DADA so thanks for that. I'm looking at Elmhurst and Hammond potentially in three years time. Thanks

    Lack of sleep is definitely my trigger. I had my first migraine in my 30s and I literally thought I was dying. ..my head felt like it was splitting into two and I just couldn't get out of bed...it must have been so scary for your DD. Lovely to hear you were well looked after. Hope she's feeling better.

    Can I just clarify a point...so dance degree courses ...you can apply for the same loans as standard degrees?

    This is on their official site: The deadline for online applications is 5pm (GMT) on Friday 20 January 2017. Results will be communicated via email, approximately four weeks after this. This was on their FB site: This year we received a record of 2694 applications for 632 spaces on our Summer Programme. We hope to extend offers from 1 March.

    Exactly as pointetoes said...plus they want dancers who look like they enjoy dancing. I know nerves can play a part but the smily ,happy children always stand out to me. Good luck.

    Hi ,in my opinion and experience, they are looking for happy children who engage eye contact with the 'judges',look as if they are enjoying their dancing and also have the ability to pick up the steps quickly. Good luck. Do let us know!
