  1. That looks brilliant, thanks. Is it a fixed 2 metres or is that adjustable?
  2. Hi,looking at getting one of these for my DD. She is 15 and doing Grade 5,Inter Found...would this be useful? If so, any recommendations? They really seem to vary in price. Thanks.
  3. Hi balletbrokemybank, just had a chat with my DD...she says it's really intense. Apparently they click their fingers and say again and they continually repeat their dances. She's loving it and sometimes mentions aching legs the next day and she does a lot of dance during the week. I think the cost is good actually when you think about the intensive days too. Hope this helps.
  4. Who are you rooting for? C'mon Andrew!!

  8. Hi there, noticed that the Hammond are holding auditions for 9-13 year olds. This might be a silly question but what happens if they're 13 when they actually audition? Are they kicked out at 13? Thanks.
  9. Not on the high street .com have some lovely bangles with a silver ballerina charm on . The bangle is an adult size though so they're fitting me the charm on one of their child's sizes. Less than £30 and they've been very helpful too.
  10. MrsSri...elements of your story struck a chord. Hope this helps :http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/13188-classical-and-contemporary/?fromsearch=1

  14. Sorry balletbean, sounds awful. Did they agree in the end? Sounds like they weren't prepared to consider your daughter the way that they compared her to everybody else! Who knows what the future holds for our DDs but you just want to do what's best don't you?
  15. As above. ..speak to the school. Keep us informed.

  18. Thanks everyone. Sarahw, trying to organise something with my parents and my father has to put in his summer holiday request by Friday! Fullcontretemps..I would be grateful if you could find out about Opes and York;that's really kind. Thank you.
  19. We have to book holiday dates for next summer so I'm trying to pin down SS dates. I've researched on here and think I've narrowed it down to Opes or York Dance Assembly. Which would you recommend for a first time residential. ..lots of ballet but perhaps some musical theatre too. Know I'm asking a lot now but does anybody have any dates for 2017? Thanks...you're all brilliant.
  20. Welcome Littledancer . I can't answer your specific Swan Lake question but my DD has done EYB twice and loved every second of it. This is a fabulous forum and I'm sure you'll get an answer. Congratulations to your DD.
