  1. Hi I would say a size 8. My daughter is a size 6 on top and 5 foot 2 and it's a loose fit but not baggy.x
  2. Purple RAD leotard size 2A. Worn 3 or 4 times for rehearsals and for exam. £8 plus p&p.
  3. Associates t-shirt and hoodie. Excellent condition. T-shirt £6 plus p&p Hoodie £12 plus p&p
  4. Chantry school of contemporary and balletic arts in Grantham. Midlands associates in Newark. Do Elmhurst have associates? York scholars. Look back on old threads too as depends where you are.x
  5. A lot of the big schools have agent showcases, separate to the graduation show. Off the top of my head I can think of Bird, Laine, Madd, Bodywork,Performers and Urdang but I'm sure there's many more, these are just the ones I definitely know. I didn't go to any open days either. I dint want to add to the cost of the auditions.x
  6. Google dada income bands. That will give you an idea of what you will have to contribute if dd does a level 6 diploma. Accommodation is then in addition and varies depending on where they train. For example Urdang is central London whereas Performers is Essex so accommodation is cheaper. Think KS dance in Warrington which offer private scholarships and bursaries (they Don't offer dada) may include a bursary for accommodation but limited info on their website. Likewise Madd in Nottingham are a charity, is level 6 but dont offer dada only their own private scholarships and accommodation up to £65 pw is paid for by the council. Not sure about the classical schools as dd didn't audition at those, although I am aware that Tring accommodation is 11k per year but they only have to stay in their accommdation for the 1st year.x
  7. My dd did it from the beginning up until they went to 2 Sundays per month. Mainly had Peter and Shannon with the odd guest teacher. You couldn't meet 2 livelier people. Dd always enjoyed it but just couldn't commit to 2 Sundays with gcses and dance school commitments.
  8. Yes recalls already done. Results started coming out yesterday.x
  9. My dd starting also. I'm going to look into extra for her to do over the summer as 10/11 weeks off is far too long.
  10. I also second Peter and Shannon Parker. Not sure of the age, but there's also chantry school of contemporary and balletic arts in Grantham.
  11. Thanks. Madd and it was a yes with a recall 😁x
  12. I believe there was 18 in the audition ranging from 15 to 20 years old.Got a very good feel for the place. Standard varied as you would expect from an audition, however the students were of a high standard and very hardworking. My dd watched a class whilst she was waiting for her singing solo and said that there wasn't one person in the class not giving 100% and they were being worked hard. 3 weeks is a guideline. Dd had an audition yesterday which quoted 2 weeks and she found out today.x
  13. I too would sometimes like to fast forward to after auditions and gcses, but then I think of all the experiences, memories and audition trips we would miss out on. Granted it's going to be a very busy and difficult time but hopefully we can enjoy it too.x
  14. So if they're not entitled to child benefits on L6 diploma. Are there any other benefits that can be claimed????
  15. Someone in know was offered funding a week ago
  16. Hi It's a while since I've been on here. I remember a member who sells dancewear and shoes but can't remember who. Does anyone know please?? TIA
