  1. Unfortunately my pictures are too large to upload directly' but have a look at my Instagram for some curtain call pics.
  2. Your stats are very much at odds with those produced by the Office of National Statistics. Also, you miss out the statistic that the perpetrator in the vast majority of child abuse cases is a family member or friend - interestingly for psychological abuse the figure for girls is 42% mother and 33% father and for physical abuse, 33% mother and 36% father. Your statement about "masculinist assumptions" is simply laughable.
  3. It's likely the salesperson doesn't have the authority to deal with this sort of thing. I would suggest contacting the Virgin Trains complaints or customer relations department and I'm sure it will get sorted.
  4. This is a co-ordinated approach to improve road safety and I, for one, applaud it. In a number of boroughs all roads are 20 mph so it's probably easier to assume that's the limit unless there are signs saying otherwise. IMO a motorbike doing more than 20 mph in heavy traffic is a danger in any event.
  5. Of course that's a matter of opinion. I found it generally dull (not enough ideas to fill the full length), unmusical and choreographically and stylistically too close another piece already choreographed to that music. The main redeeming factor for me was the performance of the individual dancers (including, without limitation, the two you named).
  6. From what I hear from those who attended and enjoyed, I don't think debacle is the correct word. The leading lady was taken to hospital suddenly and with no cover available, the remaining cast did a concert of highlights and all patrons received a refund. These things happen and it sounds like ROH dealt with it in a decent manner
  7. Ah, but Wimbledon has excellent left luggage facilities just outside the grounds (and not everyone leaves at the same time).
  8. I'm glad you don't think I'm a troublemaker!
  9. That is incorrect. I have traveled abroad many times to watch football matches and have not had to provide my passport details. Also, do you not thing restricting someone's movements might give the game away that they are under surveillance? You might as well just lock them up without charge (and we all saw just how successful an idea that was in Northern Ireland in the 1970s & 80s).
  10. Well, I manage the Barbican alright without having to use the cloakroom, but I've downsized my man-bag to a just bigger than A4 sized delivery bag so it's less of an inconvenience in concert halls, theatres etc.
  11. The cardboard tickets have a QR code on them, so they can be scanned too.
  12. IMHO that's very odd principle. If my coat folds up and fits under my chair without blocking the air conditioning vents (or even in front of my legs if I'm in the front row) what concern is it of anyone else?
  13. Just a reminder that the downstairs cloakroom (like the downstairs gents loo) is temporary and will return to the ground floor once the works are completed. As an aside, as the gents will eventually become an extension of the ladies, the plumbing is set up for cubicles - this makes the layout of the urinals rather odd!
  14. I have SCS D26 available for Wednesday 24 May. Face value is £6. Please PM if interested.
  15. According to the press release tickets go on sale on 26 July, which is public booking for the Autumn period.
  16. There's no U55 in the stalls (there's no anything 55 in the stalls). Must be amphi.
