It was just a suggestion. Ultimately it's a personal choice, dependent on the person giving the gift, how well they know the recipient, etc.

Essex- Adagio in Rayleigh. It also has an associate programme- SEBS. They do trial classes too. You can find them on Facebook and they have their own website. Another one is Joanna Bond. Both are excellent

Oh my word. What a tough time you and your DS must be going through. Best of luck with finding him a school, perhaps one where his friends from primary were at will help resettle him. Can't offer any real advice other than to make sure the transition is as painless as possible. Wishing you all the best x

Really surprised by this as altho they say don't wear associate uniform, all the ones I've seen in the 2019 audition who wore associate uniforms were called back...

Just wondering why these leotards are so sought after and why they hold their value so well? My DD had one but I didn't think it looked half as good as her grishko or wear moi ones

😂 I was thinking of the schools who enter Beckenham/Orpington/Tun Wells. Don't think you can travel around easily anywhere without transport in Kent and Medway. Buses and trains are horrendous!

Was trying to post a photo from some programmes but too large for this website. Have a squizz at the dance schools following Tunbridge Wells, Beckenham, Orpington and Medway dance festivals on Facebook... Hope this helps.

Try looking in the programmes for the festivals for participating schools- Beckenham being the obvious one. There are lots of very good dance schools out there in North Kent and yes Nicola Tarry is excellent but there are also others you can take a look around.

Silly question. Why does one need to darn their pointe shoes? I remember a girl at school used to spend every break and every lunch sewing her shoes but never understood why.
