  2. Hi. Does anyone know if lunch will be served at ENBS during summer intensive course or do we have to bring own lunch everyday? Thank you in advance!
  3. Hi, Does anyone know of any half term courses for children please? Preferably London way. Thank you 😊
  4. We are delighted to announce that after the huge success of our Virtually Vocational Summer Intensive we will be running a two day Autumn Intensive on the 26 and 27 October 2020. The course is designed for students currently in vocational training who are keen to maintain and enhance their strength and technique over the half term holiday period but without compromising time at home with family before their return to school. As well as delivering classes in classical technique, repertoire/solos, contemporary and core strength the world-class faculty are also on hand to give expert advice for those with upcoming auditions or specific concerns. Private coaching is available on request. Faculty: Itziar Mendizabal, Laura Morera, Angela Towler, Sebnem Onal For more information or to reserve a place please email vanessa@theballetschool.co.uk or lmballet@googlemail.com
  5. Has anyone heard if ENB will run their intensive at half-term? It's getting late in the day but the web site notice implies they will run but yet to open up for applications.
  6. I wondered if anyone felt it would be useful to share thoughts and experiences on the dance/ballet Easter or summer schools their children have taken part in this year? I thought it might be useful, given that there is often a choice and they can’t do them all (even if they would like to!) for people to share any experiences that they have had... It’s a good way to find out what is out there too! I am happy to share my DDs experiences this year if others are similarly interested 😊. She has really enjoyed both of the courses she did this year and found them very different from one another!
  7. Hello does anyone know of any ballet summer schools or intensive workshops in the summer holidays in the south east? Asking for my 8 year old daughter, who will go spare without ballet over the long break.
  8. Hi, I wondered if anyone has any experience of the Dutch National summer school? My DD has been offered a place but it's eye-wateringly expensive as accommodation is extra on top. Is it worth saving for though? Frustratingly, we have to commit before we find out about other schools so not sure what to do.
  9. Hi My daughter has got 4 weeks off over Christmas so I am looking for intensives or workshops. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
  10. Hiya guys, just wondering if I could get a bit of advice. DS is 11 in August and woke up last night crying. When I finally got to the bottom of it, it was because he doesn’t want to sleep away from home. He’s got three reaidentials in the summer, one for school, one dance and one camping. He’s a very young 11, still sits right next to you, and will always come back for a cuddle. Obvs he will have to get over this at some point but how do I make it easier for him?? His sister has been sleeping over at friends for ages so seems ok with it. He was breaking his little heart last night. 😔 Any advice??? S xx
