    My "Covid Confusion" is getting worse, I booked for the 13th and will be getting a credit voucher, I would now like to see the 18th. Booking for the 18th and 19th opens tomorrow at noon, were there no performances on these dates before, I can't find the original schedule?

    I've just returned my ticket for Friday's ROH Nutcracker, amphi R49 if anyone is interested, I've been trying to go but with no Victoria trains, I just can't face Blackfriars late at night, I like arriving there in the afternoon, but not as the only way home after 10pm!

    These ballets came immediately to mind, none of which I think I will be likely to see 🙂 Ashton: Daphnis @ Chloe, Cinderella, Sylvia, RB: Johann Kobborg's La Sylphide or another production Bolshoi: Giselle with original ending, Nureyev

    I think it is a legal requirement that tickets are refunded if the venue cancels, I've got the 13th, 20th and 21st evenings. Unfortunately the train timetable information isn't finalised until 8 days before, so it always looks good further ahead, they always advise to check nearer the date! The late evening trains are always the worst affected too 🙂

    I've only watched the first act so far, and thought it improved towards the end, what I presume is the dance of thieves was exciting, and Fumi Kaneko and Edward Watson had a fascinating pdd, other outstanding dancers were Calvin Richardson and Joseph Sissens. The sound quality of my laptop is bad but even so I wasn't impressed by the music, recognised the Liszt music but thought it sounded odd compared to the original. Very well filmed, I suppose the lighting was supposed to change between clear and murky? Good camera angles too, I was able to get a real feeling of how it looked on stage. Hope it gets released on DVD when I can watch and hear it properly!

    I didn't look into it too deeply, I just saw at some point the late evening trains would be replaced by buses on the Saturday, that rung an alarm bell. There's an even worse problem looming, from Saturday 19th - Sunday 27 February inclusive, there are no main line trains from Brighton to Three Bridges, I believe you can go via Lewes or Littlehampton!

    I've just booked for the 20th and 21st, I nearly booked Saturday 15th which would have been better but checked the trains (replaced by buses) and got the Friday instead! I already had the opening night booked and yes, Isaac Hernandez is dancing, I am very pleased he is, Shiori Kase too! Whether I go in January of course remains to be seen 🙂

    I've been worrying all day whether to go ahead with tomorrow's Nutcracker and now the ROH has made my mind up for me, very sad though.

    I think you have given me a clue to the difficulties I am having with Signing In and trying to buy tickets Lenore, I have just E-mailed the Box Office in desparation. I noticed that after clicking "Buy Tickets" it says New Checkout Service, then 3 flashing circles appear on my screen, that's as far as I get! It didn't ask me if I want to use it or not. I managed to learn how to copy and paste this afternoon to try to re-set my password from the E-mail they sent me so that's something, it didn't work though!

    I really like the exquisite girl's solo that Laura Morera dances on the DVD, shame it has been discontinued, I prefer a peasant pas de deux over a pas de six anyway.

    I'm still having problems with the ROH website since it was corrupted on the last Friends booking day, I've tried changing the cookie settings but nothing helps. I never have been able to get into My Account again, sometimes I can book tickets and sometimes I can't, I've tried changing my password several times but all to no avail!

    It was a huge success the few times I saw it, especially the pdd for Antoinette Sibley and Rudolf Nureyev!

    I'm so pleased that I will be able to see it at last, 3 hours long suggests some extras, hopefully an introduction and synopsis, and Edward Watson's farewell performance 🙂

    As I understand it, boosters do not need to be added to the Covid Pass for entry into UK places as double vaccinations are sufficient, but do have to be added to Covid Passes intended for international travel. I had my booster last week and went to update my Covid Pass and found it unnecessary.

    For some reason I have never seen Sarah Lamb's Giselle before although she was wonderful as the Sylphide, and am looking forward to seeing her and Marcelino Sambe soon, pleased this afternoon went so well. Edited to add thanks for the great photos again !

    I didn't even realise it was on until reading postings yesterday, I'm going for new casts, i.e. Takada/Corrales and Naghdi/Ball, if I make it, apparently I'm suffering from "hogo" the "hassle of going out" 🙂

    I've had an E-mail from the Coliseum which gives some useful information: Doors open 90 minutes before performance. Auditorium open 60 minues before performance. Estimated duration is 2 hr. 40 min.

    Yes, fascinating, I've been watching films of the 32 entrechat six on Youtube, I can't remember Albrecht ever doing all of them at the ROH.

    I did get an E-mail saying the money would not be deducted from bank accounts until the day of streaming when it was first postponed. I thought this might happen as Giselle starts streaming soon, I don't suppose it's possible but could The Dante Project be shown on BBC at Christmas?

    Thanks for spotting this Sim, I hope they can continue to do this 4 days in advance or at least the day before, I can write out my own cast list before I leave home 🙂

    The ROH website still isn't working properly, I wanted to see my events, but of course I can't sign in to the Welcome page. I have found another quick way to book, access your basket which always seems to contain a £3 donation and your name is at the top with the option to sign out! All productions are then available to book in the usual way.

    I got in at about 10.30am and booked without signing in on Edge, presume they picked up my name and address from the card payment because I got a confirmation E-mail! Got 1 seat I wanted out of 3, the other 2 are middle row ones but I usually miss the last act of Swan Lake anyway. I still can't sign in properly!
