Well, I've spotted one in German - a new EU regulation on "green" offices which, for workers' health reasons, and owing to the increase in harmful insects, requires office plants to be replaced by carnivorous ones. It's written in such droningly boring German officialese that your eyes might glaze over and miss the salient hints that it's an April Fool

This just in: The Importance of Being Earnest Free live stream on Saturday 2 April at 7.25pm (BST) If you couldn’t get tickets or want to see it again – the chance is here as we bring you The Importance of Being Earnest live and for free on the Royal Opera House YouTube Channel. After a sell-out run at the Linbury Studio Theatre in 2013, The Royal Opera has taken Ramin Gray’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest to the Barbican and now online. Oscar Wilde’s great comedy is refashioned in a suitably bold and bonkers way by Gerald Barry in this acclaimed operatic version. The plot alone is packed with comic potential. Jack and his friend Algernon are in a pickle: they love Gwendolen and Cecily, but there is confusion over who is called Earnest – a name of which both girls are very fond. The comedy unfurls through a wonderfully idiosyncratic score of virtuoso orchestral colour, giddy with cucumber sandwiches, smashed plates and megaphones. Gray’s production is surprising and inventive as it delights in the opera’s kaleidoscope of music and manners. For the anarchic-at-heart, this is definitely a must-see. So join us online on Saturday 2 April at 7.25pm (BST). The live stream of The Importance of Being Earnest is delivered in association with BBC Arts. The performance will be available to watch shortly after the live stream on the BBC Arts online page and the ROH website for 30 days.

I'm not going to try and answer the OP's original question, since I'm not sure exactly what it is , but reading this thread has made me think of the following points relating to a range of disabilities which may or may not have been mentioned. First and foremost, how is the person in question to be supported if s/he doesn't mention the disability, whatever it may be, and however severe it may be? And I can't see that any employer would be pleased if someone concealed the fact that they had a disability which affected their ability to do the job. As with all conditions, the level of severity and the ease (or lack thereof) of management will be determining factors, but: Diabetes - as this was mentioned: Stuart Cassidy, former RB principal, had diabetes, and talked about its management in various interviews. I think, though, that he was unusual in that he developed late-onset "childhood" diabetes rather than the "adult" type (can't off-hand remember whether that makes it Type I or Type II?). Hearing problems: hearing aids are frequently so small these days that this might not be a particular difficulty, unless there is perhaps more of a problem with amplified music, for instance. Again, mileage will vary ... I think that a couple of years ago (perhaps Janet will remember, if she was "on duty" that day?) there were a couple of links to articles on dancers/dance students who had managed to overcome or at least cope with conditions which might have proved an impediment to a dance career, but I can't remember what they were. I was also wondering whether a small company might be easier to deal with?

I can't imagine, given Osipova's recent withdrawal from a performance elsewhere, that they've had a lot of time to rehearse together recently - that can't have helped. By the way, I was meaning to ask: did she do the overhead lifts in Act II that way (back to the audience, with one leg bent up, rather than the usual "swallow"-type lift) last time around, or was it perhaps a concession to the injury?- 500 replies

Hmm, you can certainly see which one's Vidya Patel from the top picture, can't you? I didn't even know this was on - and I've missed it I guess that's what happens when Sadler's Wells starts providing annoying fold-out leaflets rather than the previous season brochure - it's not been the first time since the beginning of the year And yes, Anna, they are certainly on tour, but they're not doing the same programme everywhere, as far as I can see.

When you add to that the fact that I've seen 2 complaints in the last 24 hours about how difficult it is to get photos out of the ROH to illustrate reviews, previews and so on ... Getting back to the Wilis, I always thought that they were girls who had been jilted ("got into trouble"?) and had committed suicide as a result, so would have been buried outside the churchyard?- 500 replies

Oh dear - once again, sympathies. I think I was turning red a couple of weeks ago - probably just as the Act II Giselle pdd started, of all the horrendous times to pick! The other day at Giselle, I heard a rustling noise some way to the side of me, turned to look, and found someone eating a sandwich or something! Assuming they didn't turn up a minute before the performance, I did wonder why on earth they couldn't have eaten it earlier - or waited 3/4 hour.

Well, 2Ps, most of the dancers you mention would at least be candidates for my selection! Except Schaufuss, for the sole reason that I don't think I ever saw him live. Come to think of it, I never saw Wall live in his dancing days, and I'm not sure about Dupond. -
Oh dear, my sympathies. I've had that problem before now, and it seems to me the more you try and muffle it/become conscious of it, the worse it is to control I've worked out that concentrating *very* hard on the stage action/what you're listening to etc. does seem to help, but it's incredibly difficult to do!

Grrr I meant to ask people tonight whether he was still performing Hilarion as well as Wilfried. Answering your question first: I think both Morera and Nunez have done both in the past. And yes, I agree with you - it was so good to see her doing Myrthe again. I was sorry I wasn't closer so that I could get more detail from her interpretation.- 500 replies

As, despite her name, is Begona Cao. As for the reduced Spring touring, I think that's been going on for quite a few years now. It used to be that many of their venues had two visits a year, but this now seems to have been reduced to one - and since they tour at a loss, I doubt that things are likely to improve in that respect, given the current economic climate
