Unfortunately, I don't think my DD will be able to attend due to clashes with other summer intensives/camps but was just wondering how many children are usually in this group and whether it's likely to be smaller given the current situation. Hi! I went in 2019 and absolutely loved it. Not sure how it’s working this year but I really enjoyed being taught by BRB dancers. Also, my group did Pas de Deux with some of the BRB dancers as well which was an amazing experience (especially for my first time doing pas!). We learnt 3 different rep pieces and a jazz piece for the showing at the end. The food was really nice and it was easy to socialise with everyone else with things like the disco we had. If anyone has any previous experience Girls tend to wear any leotards they like paired with practice skirts throughout the classes. But definitely take a black leotard and black skirt for the sharing of work performance. Although there was more variety in the practice skirts at the senior session performance two years ago. My DD loves this particular summer school and has only missed one in Y8 since she was old enough to go. Now in upper school and going again this year. Many thanks x For my ds, we received the email on Thursday and we have one week to confirm by playing the deposit. Maybe you could email next week if you have not heard yet. My elder daughter has been to the summer school previously and always loved it.
