Shushed the (overflowing into my seat) gentleman beside me at The Mikado tonight and he left after the next number! Not sure whether it was me or the (excellent but certainly not traditional) production wot done it. -
The Royal Ballet: Don Quixote, 2014

Unquestionably? There was an awful lot of benefactors' money pumped into Dpn Q, so I wouldn't be so sure!- 291 replies

All good until it came to "male ballerina". I believe "facepalm" is the relevant expression here. -

One of the reasons it's handy to have some florists here who used to be ballet dancers themselves... Also helps when one is ordering a basket of flowers to present to someone who has just performed Gamzatti!

I generally don't like to post about rehearsals but I have to say that Claire Calvert was simply stunning in the final Aeternum pd2 this afternoon. I'm still shaking!

In relation to the topic at hand... [pun intended]
-
Not quite sure what that has to do with the ladies' bathroom at the ROH. Please stay on topic.
-
As a tax payer and a benefactor, I'd much rather the ROH didn't squander its money on hand cream.

Royal Ballet - Ashton mixed bill

I've seen a couple of references to "mother/daughter" with respect to Natalya and Vera in Month. It is important to remember that Vera is Natalya's ward and there is an age difference of just 12 years, so it should be a very different relationship. It's a central tenet of the original play that Natalya sees Vera as a rival in matters of the heart.
