    As for waiting lists, it all depends how far down on the list the child is. I always took waiting list as "no" and moved on with other plans.

    we went through upper school auditions this year (Sep 18 start) and neither of the schools we got offer from wanted to negotiate deadline to pay. Tring was first to hit us with their acceptance fee of £3.5k payable by 2nd week of February and we have hardly stared auditioning by then! The stress we went through was unbearable and the tears when declining offers 😞 because of it.

    Our photographer included head shots when DD did audition photos. I was very pleased and glad we had them. They look much better on the form than passport photo.

    Is the school in London? My DD will be moving to dance overseas this September and I can have 1 student over in our home (Central London) in case of such emergency until the student finds alternative. x

    Dancia in Covent Garden stocks many brands and my DD tried many before she found band/ model she is absolutely happy with. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We visited many stores including Freed and Bloch but she never been back.

    My DD has always 2 pairs on the go (Grishko hard shank)...one is drying and other in her bag ready for class. She is using also shoes hardener like jet glue or similar Johnson wood wax product. It does the job.

    We are traveling to NY this summer for intensive and have standard GP letter plus I've emailed them medical check which was done for upper school entry. US school was happy with it.

    I believe the Admin staff will be working as normal in a view that tomorrow is their deadline to accept offers.

    My DD had YES letter from Tring for upper school back in February...but they can not offer board (bed) or funding audition for her ....i wonder what was the point of even sending the offer to her?

    Dancia is my DD's favourite place for pointe shoes. Good advice is always received and variety of brands in stock to try and test.
