DD only uses Grishko 2007 - perfect fit since she started.

I usually just take nice photo of my daughter - Photoshop it to make it perhaps a fairy with wings blowing fairy dust over the tree....and get it printed and/or email it to family abroad around the world.

My DD is waiting for her letter too. Still nothing.

I prefer to do a gift baskets rather than special gift. I get lots of ballet themed small things of the net or ballet shops (i.e. ballet socks, CD's, hair pins, ballet tights, book, dance accessories like ribbons, personalized bottle, small diary to keep her notes, dance warm ups, leg warmers perfume..etc.) organize it nicely into lovely basket wrap it all up into cello bag add big ribbon bow on top and ...voila. Good idea for some would be perhaps subscription to dance magazine or you can’t go wrong with theater tickets.

Hi Dancing2003 I am sure it is suitable from 11 (my DD was 11 when she did the course). We did various summer courses before, but you can not even compare them with what she has learned during the week with NKBSummer Intensive. It has opened my eyes a lot. For me most of them are just "moneymaking" scheme for me.

From our personal experience I would recommend Natalia Kremen Ballet Summer Intensive Course. My DD has enjoyed her time at the summer school to the maximum and has gained a lot from the experience. The teachers were truly passionate and enthusiastic. My DD will be returning in 2015.
