    Would like to recommend Pointe Performance nr Worthing my dd had a great pointe shoe fitting, going through various shoes nothing was too much trouble, great advice and excellent service - my dd loves her 1st pair of Russian pointe shoes -

    My dd is in yr 8 and has ballet everyday apart from Saturday mornings, rad advanced 1 ballet twice a week I don't think that has changed from y7

    Unfortunately we went through the same last year and felt very disappointed with Tring and another school but please do not give up hope. My dd was very lucky to gain an MDS at the Hammond and is loving it!

    Thanks for the feedback, I'm just looking at Opes and moorland websites both looks very good, dd has done NYB for the past three years but thought we would try something else this summer

    Thanks picturesinthefirelight I didn't realise that there were two in yorkshire, I have been looking at the yorkshire ballet. We couldn't do elmhurst last year but thought it would be good to try this year and like you said it's at the end of the hols. Do you have any thoughts of any others has to be residential and mainly ballet

    Last year when dd auditioned for Yr7 they videoed at Elmhurst & The Hammond not at Royal or Tring

    Really enjoyed the open morning, loved watching my daughter and her friends in their yr 7 ballet class - brilliant ballet teacher

    My dd seems to be coping very well at the moment I do think doing summer schools have helped her, she is loving The Hammond I know there will be days/weeks when things will get her down and will be tough hopefully using Facetime and sending her cards and bits & bobs in the post it will help her through, can't wait to hear all about her first few weeks on her first exact weekend

    The same dances I'm watching sat night and the gala but I have also put down to chaperone if they need me
