Hi dtadmin Yes we thoroughly enjoyed last night my dd danced also in the junior section can came runner up, was a very proud mummy, there was a lot in that section, this is our 3rd season with NYB and I have to agree with you it's such a shame not more of the older ones entered, we have always loved watching the older ones whilst some topics have been on the dark side but they are so inspirational to the younger ones

Hi Please can anyone advise which network provider has the best coverage at either of the Hammond boarding houses, my dd is due to start yr7 September, she is currently on Three but unsure what the coverage is like, also we would like to get her an iPad so she can skype as they don't have wifi in the boarding houses Many thanks

I have just contacted The All England Dance and they have said Vocational Students are allowed to compete at festivals, there maybe some festivals that won't allow vocational students to compete and it states that on their rules but so far I've only found one in our festival circuit, we certainly won't be doing all of the festivals it would be nice to finish this year if possible with the permission from The Hammond and DD's current dance school.

Thanks dtadmin as we are in the same situation with festivals in the South Of England and we would like her to see the year through if possible and the school gave us their permission

Thanks everyone for your feedback, she would be boarding, I was only thinking of seeing the rest of the festival year out and it might just be one or two but things change and she might not want to take part x

Thanks for your feedback Billyelliott and picturesinthefirelight All the festivals that we take part in are during school hols and we wouldn't probably do them all, she's qualified a couple already for next year semis and really enjoys taking part, I think I will write and ask for permission. X

Hi I just wondered my dd is off to the Hammond in Sept does anyone know if she would still be allowed to dance at the festivals if she wanted to, and other Easter/Summer schools. I know some of the children take part in NYB during the summer hols any advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks

hi Lala I hope you don't mind me asking which year group has your daughter turned down, my dd is on reserve list for year 7 at Elmhurst we haven't heard any news yet of any movement.

Hi picturesinthefirelight Yes the elmhurst letter says my dd is on the reserve list so depending if anyone turns it down then we may be contacted depending on how many on the list

Very proud mummy letter has just arrived and dd has been awarded an MDS at the Hammond we found out last week she's on the Elmhurst waiting list to, so thrilled for her can't wait to pick up my dd from school

My dd said Mary was only watching group 1 and group 2 she didn't go into her group 3, as Mary takes Group 1 & 2 perhaps she was observing as she's been away for a few weeks

Yes London was the final auditons on 26th Jan for lower school hopefully we will hear this week

hi pas de chat We were in at 2.15 what about you? dd really enjoyed it and it was nice to see some of her friends that she met a NYB and other auditions how did your dd find it? Hopefully they won't keep us waiting long x
