    My dd loved the course last week! She made so many friends from all over the world, and I was impressed with the classes we watched on the Friday morning 💗

    My DD said a lady came in to one of their classes today with a copy of their headshots and sat and watched and made notes

    Also the class sizes seem quite large....my DD says 28 I'm her group? This is her first time doing it, but not had classes this size before at other well known courses.

    Didn't want to read and run! But I would say this is normal. My DD got upset when she was in her last week of term and writing goodbye cards to some of her friends.....not because she was leaving primary school, but because there were a couple of girls she was close to that she wouldn't see. And tbh she still gets a bit emotional when going back after the summer and Christmas holidays. We went out for a special family meal to her favourite restaurant, the night before we took her to school for the first time.

    She said she thinks she would like to wait and do the summer school and then the competition that it leads in to next year. Is there an application form for it yet? I have seen the photos required.

    For those that have been and dropped off and collected.....is parking OK at school? We are driving down from the north! And the parents showing says to be there at 9am.....does it start at that time? And again is parking OK?

    Just been looking at this. With a DD at vocational school, she feels performance part is the thing she needs more confidence in. Not sure we have time this year to apply for the competition, but interested in the 2023 summer school.

    RBS Yorkshire Ballet Seminars Malvern Ballet Seminars Elmhurst Ballet School National Youth Ballet Moorlands Ballet Academy of Northern Ballet (Leeds) My daughter has done the first 3 all of which are mostly in holiday time. In terms of home schooling.....not really, though I know a couple who do. But my Dd is at vocational school

    That does sound they have the option of assessing you out if they want! In which case, they are incredibly harsh (being polite here!), as these kids are halfway through their GCSEs!!!!! It would be unlikely that another vocational school woukd take them at that point too?

    I know that current CAT students have been chosen already and notified if they have been.

    They have replied to my email saying its fine, and if there aren't enough seats then the youngest will have to sit on the floor instead.

    I have emailed to ask them.....bit of a nightmare tbh! YBS are great at letting them watch and she has seen a couple of those and sat brilliantly 🤞

    Just got the arrival and departure times. Does anyone know if they allow a younger sibling to watch too.....I literally have no one to leave her with as will have to stay the night before, and her dad works nights and my family are away on holiday!!!
