Hi BM ... each level can have up to 15 in the group - I believe they will look at age plus grade when placing into the groups and yes in level 4 it is Intermediate and above.

Congratulations to the SAs who got finals at RBS - unfortunately my DD not among them but she also looks fwd to finals at ENBS Elmhurst and Central - proud Mum moment
-
BMM I am sure with 3 people on the panel your daughter cannot of been aware where all of them were looking at any given moment - unless they looked down or sat with their backs to the children I am guessing they saw plenty (even if it didn't seem that way to our DDs) wishing your daughter good luck with the results when they arrive.

Adult Ballet - questions, answers, classes and info

For all of you who love to dance and are close to London, how about this .....http://bit.ly/1lCyUc6 -
Attending Upper School Auditions this year and have noted that there is no shortage of non British Nationals auditioning alongside our home grown dancing children. I think our schools' reputation abroad speaks for itself - the training offered is first class - it might not suit everyone and some might need to supplement to achieve their potential in all areas. I am just happy that we have training available here and that it is recognised as excellent on the International stage. Many factors will come into play as to whether a dancer will become a member of the corps, a soloist or a principle. Training, physicality, contacts, luck and pure talent will all play their part and of course being in the right place at the right time. If my DD achieves a place at her dream school we will remain firmly on these shores if not we will look elsewhere. To train in Britain is the dream of many dc abroad - lets celebrate that if you have the talent the training is here for the taking and if it was so much better elsewhere surely not so many international wannabes would be in my DDs audition class

can I ask which class your DD was in Jane... we were in the second one and my dd definitely felt that the class as a whole was watched.

expectation of doctor when presented with the list of checks required,20 - 30 minutes ...... who would be a ballerina when you can be a doctor
-
Hi All - I am wondering how much the general rate is, that Doctors are charging for assessment, for signing the various schools medical declaration .... mine wants £25 for a GP fit and well certificate as requested by Northern ie no examination or £117 for a full medical .... is this normal? ... shocked!!
-
Sorry to hear your news CP - I am sure that they will reschedule the audition - tell your dd not to worry.
-
kkmom I think that is really sad
