A bit late now, but I found the cast sheets for all of the performances on the BRB website before this short run began.

The most stressful booking experience ever! After getting a message to say I had a 30minute wait in the queue I finally managed to buy what I wanted but it ended up taking over an hour - ridiculous!

I have a dog phobia, and I was told that the dog was allowed into the auditorium as it was a "comfort dog". Fortunately it was nowhere near my seat or I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on the performance on stage. Regarding the cast changes for some of the pieces in The Linbury at last night's performance by the RBS, I was told by two of the School's teachers that there was a first and second cast. I was pleased that I attended on both evenings!

Stanislaw certainly did some performances in the first run as he posted a photo on his IG account holding his "head" under his arm! -

The ROH booking website - what can we do?

Did anyone else have problems with Friday Rush today? I tried with my laptop, tablet and phone. I was told that I had either gone over my ticket allocation or that I already had tickets in my basket when neither was applicable. -
Audience Behaviour - Thread 2
cackles replied to BalletcoForum Moderators's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
There was a panel of three on the Front Row programme, Sim. Dr. Kirsty Sedgman who is an expert on audience behaviour and has written a book entitled "The Reasonable Audience" Lynn Garner, a theatre critic Bethany North or Norse (?) who has worked front of house for quite some time. -
Audience Behaviour - Thread 2

On Front Row last night (BBC Radio 4 21/03) available on BBC Sounds there was a discussion on badly behaved theatre audiences which I found quite depressing as some of the types of behaviour that has been discussed here, on the Forum, seemed to be condoned and should be expected. The Battersea Arts Centre has apparently said that all performances are now relaxed - well I won't be returning there now! -

The behaviour in the Balcony was dreadful during the performance of Swan Lake that I attended. It was a Sunday matinee. I was one of the many who said "never again", but I too would really like to see Frola in this role. Depending on casting dates I will try to avoid matinees and the weekend if possible. -

I'm sorry to hear that. My Friday Rush confirmation email arrived straightaway and the ticket was featured in My Events section of my account shortly afterwards. The ticket email arrived about 30 minutes later. I hope that you have received it now. -

Royal Ballet's The Nutcracker, Winter 2022/3
cackles replied to MJW's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
I have used Friday Rush many times without a problem until today when I was actually in the ROH quite near to the box office. I had problems similar to those reported above and did not manage to get a ticket. I presumed it was because their wifi was very slow (as often happens) and reported it at the box office. They were grateful to be told and assured me that they would pass on my comments to the IT Dept.- 572 replies

I too was disappointed not to see Joe Sissens at the Insight last night, but then I saw his excited IG post saying it was his first rehearsal on the main stage for the Grand pas. Really looking forward to seeing him on 29th December with Akane!- 572 replies

I had my tickets in the basket but it won't let me pay. It keeps teling me incorrectly that I have more than one basket open. Now it's timed out. -

Royal Ballet: Romeo and Juliet, Autumn 2021
cackles replied to MJW's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
I certainly agree with the comments above about Fumi Kaneko and William Bracewell. I also thought that Joseph Sissens performance was very good, as always. Ryoichi Hirano was menacing as Tybalt and he died exceptionally well (if one is allowed to put it that way!)- 471 replies

Stanislaw was recovering from injury when Don Q was on, so he was given the non-dancing cameo playing the guitar. He appeared in every performance in the run. Since then he has appeared dancing in the corps in much of the pre-Covid rep last season. If anyone doubts his talent watch his solo when he won the Prix de Lausanne in 2017.
