Sissens is an extraordinary talent but at this moment he might still need to gain some partenering experience before becoming a principal.

Can it be Lescaut's blood from the end of act 2? Because I noticed some blood on Bracewell too in act 3- 996 replies

Congratulations to Ashley Dean & Benjamin Ella
AnticaFiamma replied to Rob S's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
Congratulations to the beautiful couples, both amazing talents and both looking gorgeous! (coincidentally I hope someone will edit Akane Takada's Wikipedia page because it is a bit awkward it says she's dating Benjamin Ella) -
Saw a preview on Friday and it's very very lovely. Pity it's performed with two intervals, thus stretching 90 minutes into 2 hours and a half, but honestly what a lovely Christmas treat. Manni as delightful as you'd expect, and Timofej Andrijashenko's comic turn as Franz is a triumph. There's a particularly beautiful variation in the allegorical dancing in the third act, gorgeously danced by Navril Turnbull

I unsubscribed after they uploaded the wonderful Ashton tryptic which is pretty much the only interesting thing they have posted in ages. I was wondering if I should re-subscribe but I think I'll wait for them to upload something meatier.

Are the "Spotlight"s the only new content they are uploading? If so, big ykes

Advice for booking at La Scala
AnticaFiamma replied to art_enthusiast's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
Hard to say, I think it's a world premiere. As for La Bayadère, it depends on how much you like Nureyev's work. Personally, I think his choreographies are abysmal and hope La Scala will eventually remove all his stuff (and they have LOADS of it) from its repertoire, but I doubt it will happen while Legris directs the ballet. I'd go for Coppelia. I also look forward to Claudio Coviello in Manon (he's like La Scala's William Bracewell), but since there are plenty of Manon performances at ROH maybe it's better to go for something you can't see in London. -
Heartbreaking, saw her and loved her in a number of things, most notably The Threepenny Opera and the one-off Sondheim concert last year. She was a true class act

It's even worse, Young ROH doesn't even cover people aged between 25 and 30, it stops at 25! You need to be extremely young and they have raised the cost from 25£ to 30£ as well.
