I agree. Couldn’t recommend Malvern highly enough. My DD has been to their Easter and Summer intensive and had an amazing time at both. -
How old is your DD? Tring Park have a Junior day of dance for younger ones. https://www.tringpark.com/associated-courses/christmas-junior-day-of-dance They also have a contemporary day of dance in early Jan for older dancers.

Can anyone who has done this before advise of likely rehearsal times during the Easter holidays? Are they daytime or evening? Bit random but we have Harry Potter tickets booked and I’m wondering if it would be likely to clash or will rehearsals be done during the day?? -
What age dancer is this suitable for, please?

Hi Tito, My DD is not at all flexible and has never mastered the splits but was offered a Y6 place so I don’t think that flexibility can be the driving factor. I guess we have to remember it’s just the opinion of one panel on one particular day and each panellist will have their own preferences in what they look for in a dancer. I think it is completely impossible to second guess anything at these auditions. I also loved CrazyLife’s post. Xxx

We have had a very unexpected yes for DD! This may now sound like a really stupid question but does anyone know the timings for the JA year 6 classes in Birmingham? We’ve been offered the Birmingham programme and I can’t seem to find details of times etc xxx

Has anyone else had audition information for RBS JA through? We’re still waiting....

I also had trouble getting hold of them - no reply to emails or phone calls. We booked Moorland instead. Had a lovely welcoming email back straight away and DD is really looking forward to going.

Thank you so much. Yes - she attended RAD last year and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, we missed out on getting a place for her this year as we were waiting for the result from RBS summer school (she was wait-listed). I think we are now committed to attend something every Summer!

Just as an update, we found out last week the DD was successful at her audition and has a place for September! All still reeling with the shock but incredibly excited! And through this forum she has made contact with a friend who may also be attending! So glad I found the forum before starting the process :0)
