    I'd only got one problem really with the evening - lots of people around us were having to get ready to leave well before the end, in order to catch trains home - it would have made lives easier if it had been maybe 2 or 3 items shorter. And, sadly, quite a few missed the final 2 pieces, which was such a shame for them. Which 2 I'd have cut, though, I am not at all sure. Certainly not either of the last 2.

    It was indeed the perfect Pas de Six. And young Matthew Ball gets better and better. Lauren recovered well from slight mishap with veil. Huge thanks to her and Frederico for stepping in at such short notice.

    Looks like Elizabeth (Acosta/Yanowsky) is on Sky Arts on Monday (15th) at 8pm.

    I agree about some of the audience's clothes - particularly amusing when seen later in the cloakroom putting on warm puffa jackets on top of gowns.

    We saw young Cesar last night in Swan Lake with the ENB - what a brilliant young dancer. Well done Tamara Rojo on having this exciting young dancer join the ENB.

    There was also an Onegin some time ago where there so many substitutions that it was felt necessary to make an apology before the start. Quite a lot of the audience left.

    What a shame after all your hard work. The calendar you did for 2014 was invaluable in leading me to first ever ballet trips to Milan and New York, so many many thanks for all you did.

    Tremendous evening - brilliant programming these three pieces made. Lovely to see Diana Vishneva. (Just made it to Waterloo in time for 10.50 train, having walked at double-quick time over bridge. We'd realised 9.51 was way out, when it came and went and DSCH hadn't even started!)

    Oh no! Just threw loads of old videos on skip in pre-house move clear out Think they're now buried under ancient mattresses and chair the labrador ate when he was a puppy. Thank goodness I saved all the ballet ones in hope I'd find a way of dealing with them.

    So envious of your having that - recently had to chuck many Videos as no longer have a working vcr. Kept favourites with idea of finding somewhere to get them swapped into DVDs, but I gather it's quite pricey.

    Rapid rise for young Luca Acri, whom we've been watching very happily this past season. But still not a promotion to Principal level for Yuhui, alas.

    Ah - me too. And definitely no camping or mud for me either - had enough of that in pre-Glasto festival days for an entire lifetime. But it's great there's so much coverage on TV. ENB were absolutely brilliant and great to see huge crowd completely enthralled by it. Bravo to them.
