If it were me I would go for the Stalls Circle as you will get a more central view. I am short too have sat on the side stalls for rehearsals and occasionally in the Grand Tier from a similar position to the ones you are thinking about in the Stalls Circle. Good luck with the booking and enjoy.

Definitely Park and Ride, there are several. Very efficient and operates after Theatre has finished. City Centre parking very expensive.

Ballet Competitions - Races that can never be won?
akh replied to Ian Macmillan's topic in Doing Dance
Absolutely spot on -
The same at our school, in fact we have had three distinctions with a mark of 88 in the last session, one at Inter Foundation, one at Advanced 1 and 1 at Advanced 2 at the age of 16.
-
Correct me if I am wrong but I think at Advanced 2 you still need to pass each section to pass the exam.

It's a pity they weren't so hot on child protection in some of the dressing rooms .
-
It's not just the fact things were stolen that are of concern but that a man was able to roam freely around the upstairs dressing rooms which must raise child protection issues.

Where are all the girls in ballet?

And maybe some with all but just the " perfect" physique for the schools -
Fantastic so pleased for her
-
Or leave it half way through to go to a rehearsal.
-
Hard though it is it is probably something she will have to get used to. Just be there to support her and help her keep her faith in herself. True friends won't be like that.
-
I don't think the girls had any teachers from the main school but I hear it was very enjoyable.

No it is definitely Byfleet

You are quite correct, she did and it's in Byfleet, Surrey.

How exciting. i remember her well when she was dancing at Susan Robinson School of Ballet. Always one to watch. -
Rules seem to vary county from county but some certainly need attendance at a course whilst others seem to do it by interview. Always best to take advice from your own county, I have always found them to be very helpful.

Is there an alternative to 6th form vocational schools?
akh replied to Friends's topic in Doing Dance
Laurretta did her ballet training with Susan Robinson, an inspirational teacher. -
Many years ago my daughter did a Turkish one with finger cymbals, I may still have the costume but wouldn't remember the dance. She was about 10 and did well with it.

I thought the filming spectacular but it left me unmoved unlike the stage show.

Taming of the Shrew? -
And still may have to struggle to pay for travel, uniform, shoes etc etc fees are not the end of it ! Everyone has their own problems so please don't assume that it still makes it possible for your daughter/son to be able to train.
