We're going to watch the LCB ballet tomorow afternoon. Can anyone recommend somewhere we can eat beforehand at around 3pm ish? Also will the traffic be a nightmare because of the London marathon? Not sure if driving or tube is easier..?

Thanks Janet. Does anyone have any personal experience of the company?
-
I was wondering if anyone has heard of this company? They are running a 3 day Easter intensive which my dd is interested in. There doesn't seem to be a phone number on their website, although I have contacted them by email and they have responded. Any info about this company would be great thanks!

Ecarte, wise words...and you could extend them to apply to parenting in general I think

Is anyone's dd/ds doing this and have you been given a time yet? I have paid for dd to do it but have only been given the date not the time and I want to book something for my younger dd's birthday. There doesn't seem to be anyone around in the LCB office at the moment, I suspect they are closed until the new year. Can anyone help?

Thank you zoo zoo. It's a choice now between Sussex Summer School and LCB senior summer school. Dd can't decide!

I am thinking about Sussex Summer School for my dd, has anyone got experience of it? They offer Greek classes during the week which is nice.

That's just the thing Janet thanks, but unfortunately I think the Kindle Fire is a different size

Has anyone seen any nice ballet themed cases for a Kindle paperwhite? cafepress.co.uk have some nice ones but they all seem to be out of stock!

11 year olds - if en pointe then possibly little Mariinsky. If not then courtier or maybe cygnet.

I love the duvet cover! Any other gift ideas for this year?

I would echo ballet sister's post. There are lots of children who get accepted on their 2nd, 3rd or 4th try so it is worth trying again, but it is also important to remember that there are many, many more who aren't accepted however many times they try.

Oh, wonder if they'd be a bit flexible on age?

Getting to RAD from Kings Cross (avoiding Victoria)
Lemongirl replied to TheMightyTwiglet's topic in Doing Dance
I'm still trying to decide best way to get there tomorrow morning, dd and her friend have an exam. Not sure whether to risk driving what with traffic, parking etc or get the tube then 170 bus. -
