    They ask for it back before finals. I shall hold on to it for as long as possible though. Told the Dr I would pick it up from reception and think about it thanks very much! I don't mind paying once for wherever she goes but don't want to do it multiple times.

    Guess I'll just have to swallow it then and pay. Does seem daft when she probably won't get offered a place anyway. Wish they would ask for it after finals!

    I wouldn't mind if everyone seemed to get charged the same fixed fee but it seems to vary so wildly you can't help but wonder why. I did just google on the British Medical Association site and £87.50 is actually the correct cost for this so I don't think he is just lining his pocket... but then why are some Dr's willing to charge just £25 or so?

    Bumping this up as just took the ENB forms to my surgery and was told it would be £87.50 for a twenty minute appointment as it is classed as private work. My last Dr's surgery did it for free when she had forms from Tring applications a few years ago. Just shows how different they all are! I'm wondering if there is anywhere else that would do it... Bupa etc? I don't really like my new Dr and don't want to pay him that!!

    Am I right to assume that as everything to do with applications for RB is now online that the results will also be via email?

    Oh no.... the worst piece of post possible to go missing!! Hopefully they sent it first class!! Fingers crossed for you.

    We were on 24th and had a letter on Tues 3rd.

    We haven't had a letter yet either but I don't think DD expected to make finals. She didn't think the audition went well so don't think she will be too disappointed. Shame she'll have to wait until Monday now for the letter and I don't understand why they can't all just be sent at the same time!

    Does anyone know if ENB send a letter or an email? If it's an email I can give the poor postman a break!

    We are waiting as long as we possibly can. DD only been offered one place so far but I can't afford to put down lots of deposits anyway.

    Has anyone heard about upper school auditions for 8th Feb yet?

    We use wood hardener (think it's called Cuprinol damp something or other... can look at the tin if you like).... it was recommended instead of shellac by a teacher. Not sure it would be any cheaper than shellac though but DD thinks it does a better job. Edited: just looked and it's actually Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Hardener.... I'd say her feet smell like wet rot after most dance sessions so seems very fitting for the job!

    Is anyone at Central for auditions on 13th Dec? I was wondering if anyone had heard about times yet? I need to sort trains etc so am hoping they get in touch soon.

    DD has finals for upper school. Auditioned Tues 11th and letter came on the Saturday.

    Assume it's for anyone Janet. They run more kind of workshop weekends (bag making, tutu making etc) rather than have full time students. Guess it relates to the people who have booked on P&M's shoe making courses but it doesn't say it is exclusively for them. Hope it's good Sheila, you must report back to us!

    Also haven't heard yet for seniors audition on 11th Nov so we are all in the same boat. Hopefully will hear something in the next few days.

    No, nothing else yet since the initial email confirming DD is on the list for 11th Nov.

    We've not been sent any info about pre-booking. The letter just says it is free admission so please bring friends and family along to watch! Hope it's not going to be too full!

    It says from February onwards on the site although there is no link to application forms yet. It says these will be available at the end of Oct.
