capybara
Tickets for this evening of dance in the Linbury from the RBS, ENBS, Central and Elmhurst on 7th March 2015 went on sale today but the ROH website is showing "sold out". This is not the case if you call the Box Office. Edited December 11, 2014 by capybara

Wulff
Same happened to me. After 25 minutes wait I reached No 6 and was cut off. What a way to treat the public! World-class service. Huh.

bangorballetboy
I got a ticket after being in the queue for 15 minutes (called at 1000 on the dot). Arena wise, there were only tickets available in the front two rows.
Kat09
I was answered and then cut off - after 38 mins of holding!! thinking no chance I didn't call again BUT the phone has just rung ... the ROH apologising for the dropped call and offering me 2 tickets I know it doesn't help but they have had problems with the booking system for the last 2 days,BT are in attendance and there are still tickets available. Wulff
I had a second try and finally got through to the Box Office and managed to get 2 tickets in the front row of the upper gallery. The whole exercise has taken me 1 hour 20 minutes.

Bruce Wall
Great. It's the night before the Russian Icons Gala at the Coliseum. Patrick Armand - how wonderful is that!! The tickets are now bookable online it seems ... or at least I didn't have any particular problem. Edited December 11, 2014 by Bruce Wall

SPD444
Strange, so I wonder how this works. Shame on me but I forgot these tickets came on sale today but read this thread and it reminded me. I logged on at 11.30 to find "Sold out" being shown. I left the screen on the relevant page and kept refreshing, initially to no avail, until at 1205 it changed to "Buy" with over a 100 tickets available spread across the range of tickets. How it can change from sold out to over 100 tickets available is a complete mystery, but maybe a lesson learnt, don't believe what it says and keep trying. Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to you all.

Pulcinella
Thanks for all this. Looked at 10 o'clock and showed sold out so didn't bother again but have just got a ticket in the Upper Gallery and there are still some left.

Yaffa
Quite surprised to see that there are still tickets left - Wonder if that's because of booking problems or something else? Yaffa

Bruce Wall
What? Patrick Armand (he of ENB, Boston and now SFB School) is going to teach the masterclass in the first half prior to the second act showcase of the British students, Alison .... or at least that's what it says in the ROH blurb. alison
Oh, I wasn't sure whether you mentioned him in relation to the performance or to the Russian gala (couldn't see the reason for the latter, but still ...) Should be interesting, then. Edit: actually, having hauled out my "ROH blurb" (Winter brochure) I was surprised to see no mention of this event whatsoever. Yet the link says it's part of the spring booking programme, for which public booking hasn't yet opened, but I can still access it and book. Strange, and a bit tough on people who would have had no idea it was on more or less until public booking opened, isn't it?
capybara
I think that they must have thought it would sell out so quickly (like the YBDY used to) that there was no need for publicity. Fortunately, those if us who are Friends of the RBS received a reminder about the booking date.
