    Czech and Russian are very different languages! The Czech names have accents which help determine the stress (IIRC).

    "ova" is the feminine of "ov" - Putrov & Putrova, Sukov and Sukova (also, on the tennis front, Safin & Safina).

    The general rule for Russian names is that the emphasis goes on the third syllable from the end so it would be O seep ov a. Some people Westernise the pronunciation of their names though.

    Just to mention that ROH tweeted this morning that non-wheelchair access tickets will be bookable online from Autumn 2014 booking period. About bloomin' time!

    I have booked. Have also booked for Ballet Central's Linbury show which was recommended (with a dead link) from the HET page on ROH website.

    Interesting you say that. Here's a press statement about the FT's trading report from 30 October 2013: "It reports that the FT, across print and online, has achieved its highest circulation in its 125-year history at nearly 629,000, which is up 5% year on year."

    Quite a sweeping statement and one that I know is not true.

    I don't see what's rude about that. The RB has just finished a short, sold-out run. If those who don't want to see Jewels didn't buy tickets, that would leave more for those who do. We all like and dislike different things, but suggesting something should be danced less frequently seems ludicrous to me.
