@Ed_DanceMum thank you, that’s really helpful. I have Emailed twice but had no reply. I couldn’t find that information on the website. -
Academy of Northern Ballet - International Summer Intensives

Does anyone who has attended in previous years know what the daily schedule is? Start time/how many hours a day? Trying to decide if it’s manageable for us to travel in each day or if we will need accommodation. tia -
My daughter was lucky enough to do both programmes. She enjoyed both equally, and found the lessons a very similar standard with 2 wonderful teachers. RBS offered more opportunities such as London workshops/pre gen performances etc. The only additional thing Elmhurst offered was a Easter residential (which was very reasonably priced) but unfortunately was cancelled due to covid the year my daughter was due to go. I know the Birmingham elmhurst associates get a few extra opportunities such at BRB nutcracker. good luck to your dd an exciting journey ahead. X

I applied again as I’m sure my struggles with the photos prevented me from completing it properly. I did then get a confirmation email, which went into my spam folder.

@sunrise81thank you, I’ll send them an email next week.

Hi, I applied for the summer school last week but not had any confirmation email. Usually for workshops I get a confirmation email within minutes. I’m wondering if I’ve filled it in wrong as I had a difficult time uploading the photos. Has anyone else had confirmation?

I can definitely recommend s-mb company. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed it this year, despite being mostly on zoom. The classes are varied and really informative, also they aren’t as basic as a lot of the other associates. My dd is a JA and finds S-MB a good contrast, learning the trickier things and being able to give everything a go.

It’s a yes for my dd, but we will be declining. Dd is going to vocational school in September. Sorry it’s a no @Dainty dancers mum but there are so many other amazing associate programmes out there, hopefully your dd isn’t too disappointed. X

Oh thank you for advise, we have had a chat to dd about starting to be I little more independent on the run up to September. She does like to keep a tidy room so shouldn’t be too bad at that, but is a nightmare for losing things 🙈
