  1. @Ed_DanceMum thank you, that’s really helpful. I have Emailed twice but had no reply. I couldn’t find that information on the website.
  2. Does anyone who has attended in previous years know what the daily schedule is? Start time/how many hours a day? Trying to decide if it’s manageable for us to travel in each day or if we will need accommodation. tia
  3. My daughter was lucky enough to do both programmes. She enjoyed both equally, and found the lessons a very similar standard with 2 wonderful teachers. RBS offered more opportunities such as London workshops/pre gen performances etc. The only additional thing Elmhurst offered was a Easter residential (which was very reasonably priced) but unfortunately was cancelled due to covid the year my daughter was due to go. I know the Birmingham elmhurst associates get a few extra opportunities such at BRB nutcracker. good luck to your dd an exciting journey ahead. X
  4. I applied again as I’m sure my struggles with the photos prevented me from completing it properly. I did then get a confirmation email, which went into my spam folder.
  5. Hi, I applied for the summer school last week but not had any confirmation email. Usually for workshops I get a confirmation email within minutes. I’m wondering if I’ve filled it in wrong as I had a difficult time uploading the photos. Has anyone else had confirmation?

  9. I can definitely recommend s-mb company. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed it this year, despite being mostly on zoom. The classes are varied and really informative, also they aren’t as basic as a lot of the other associates. My dd is a JA and finds S-MB a good contrast, learning the trickier things and being able to give everything a go.
  10. It’s a yes for my dd, but we will be declining. Dd is going to vocational school in September. Sorry it’s a no @Dainty dancers mum but there are so many other amazing associate programmes out there, hopefully your dd isn’t too disappointed. X
  11. Oh thank you for advise, we have had a chat to dd about starting to be I little more independent on the run up to September. She does like to keep a tidy room so shouldn’t be too bad at that, but is a nightmare for losing things 🙈
  12. Yes sounds like there’s quite a backlog so probably best to let them do their exam when they can. 😂
  13. Oh hopefully they get to do one soon. Maybe allowing my dd to take her inter foundation exam before she leaves is a good idea then 😂
  14. Thank you! My DD is working towards her inter foundation and will probably be able to fit in her exam before heading off to elmhurst. I was just worrying that she’d be made to sit out until all the other dc in her class are on the same level. Nice to know she can join an older class if needed.
  15. Hi, does anyone has any information on the RAD classes at elmhurst? What I’m wondering is, do all y7’s start off on the same level? Or does it depend on what exam they’ve recently taken? Also is it just the vocational exams they do, or grades too? @sunrise81 could you maybe help with this? You’ve been so helpful during this whole process.
  16. If they are JA’s then any physical issue will of most likely been flagged up at prior physio assessments at JA classes. I know several children who’ve not applied for white lodge but have been given MA places in previous years and we were always told it’s based directly from prelim auditions. No doubt if a major issue does get flagged up at finals then it will affect their MA result but most decisions will be based on prelims (or videos in this years case) xx
  17. I was told by my DDs JA teacher the MA results are based purely on the prelim video and a JA teacher report (if they are a current JA) I’d think results will be out before online auditions, even if there are uk students still waiting to be seen. Hopefully not much longer to wait 🙏🏻🤞🏻
  18. Yes I was surprised it worked this way also, maybe there are separate wait lists for girls and boys, that way if a boy declines they can look at the boy reserve list. They also said the list remains open during the academic year so there is always the chance they will get called upon, that way.
  19. Those DC on the waiting list have you contacted the auditions team? I asked for a little more information and they’ve told me what position my dd is on the list.
  20. My dd has been placed on the reserve list, do any of the parents from previous years have any more information about this? How many are on list, and how long is the list valid for? well done to all the yeses 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
