Does anyone know what happens if the child is ill and can't attend the audition? Will they try to offer a different date? I'm thinking things like vomiting bug where you absolutely can't attend instead of cold/cough etc.

I'm so enjoying watching some of this. A few girls in particular have caught my eye and then when they change leotards I get confused!

What about yoga? Excellent for strength, balance and flexibility. And the more dynamic classes are great cardio too. Also a lot more interesting and fun than gym-type exercises. -

Thank you so much for the replies. On balance I've decided just to submit the photos as they are. I'm very much of the mind that if they want her, they want her and a slightly more pointed toe or better turnout in the photos isn't going to affect that. Katia05 thank you so much for sharing that email it was really helpful and reassuring.

Can I ask how important the photos are for JA auditions? Applications open this week and my DD's dance teacher took hers today. Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist but I don't think they really show my DD in her best light but the teacher thought they were fine. Should I just relax about it and go with what the teacher thinks? How much difference do photos make? Are they just to help identify or actually make any difference to selection?

This is really interesting. I see a lot of young dancers at festivals with extreme flexibility e.g. doing oversplits poses at the age of 8 or 9. I wonder if this inevitably leads to later injuries or if there is a safe way to achieve such flexibility at a young age? -

What is kind of rehearsal commitments would this involve? Thinking of the Bromley one but I assume we wouldnt be able to go on a family holiday during August?!

Hello, I am new here. My daughter is booked onto the London JA insight day in half term and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of it that they can share. Is it genuinely just a chance to have a go or do they look out for potential talent? I assume you don't get any feedback? Many thanks!

Hello I'm a newbie to this and my daughter is only 7 so I'm just trying understand how it all works for the future. I can't figure out from the ENB website what rehearsals are involved, it just says 3 simultaneous rehearsals take place which I don't understand? Is it an intensive course or are there weekly rehearsals etc?
