    Which group was you in Dopedeedoo? I'm tired from the travelling but DD has bounced into school this morning. She loves it - the auditioning, the travelling, dancing in other studios, meeting other dancers etc. It leaves me drained! LOL. Oh to have their energy.

    Good luck all - we have finals for Elmhurst in March and 1st audition for MA/WL on Sunday.

    We have auditions for year 7 on Sunday, I think its the last session so results should be shortly after. Good luck to all those entering and waiting.

    Waiting for the results is the hardest bit. Hope those with a No were not too upset, think of it as a not yet and carry on working hard. I do realise that's a lot easier said than done though. Its so hard knowing that an audition is done and there is nothing we as parents/teachers can do now but wait.

    Aw thanks for the feedback everyone, Tring hasn't really cropped up in our dance school before but if we find ourselves looking again for next year I'll definitely bear it in mind, DD has asked me to look at the summer school there after hearing about it from one of her JA friends. Isn't the waiting for a letter/emails just awful. Lol. x

    No we haven't done Tring. My dd loves all dance but ballet is her passion. She is auditioning for Elmhurst and Royal. Of course the chance of a yes is soooooooo slim but its what she has dreamed of for such a long time. If its a No, then we will try again next year. Good luck to your pupils

    @sunrise81 yes it is. Agonising. Guessing its a NO as we were lucky enough to get a yes last year but even so. @FlexyNexy she will love it!! An amazing oppportunity

    Out of curiosity those on the waiting list - did any of you put Summer down as a preference?

    We got waiting list. I was expecting a NO as DD was lucky enough to go last year to the summer course. Still feel really sad for her and I know she will be disappointed but she will keep trying. Good luck to all those waiting for their emails

    Good luck to everyone waiting. I remember the constant refreshing well. Mine came at 4:30 on a Friday for leeds. Royal is an amazing journey but remember its not always the right route for all. If its a No, don't be too disheartened, there are lots of opportunities out there for dancers. x

    Many congratulations to the Yes's and to the WL, Commiserations and don't give up vibes to all the No's. We got a yes for week 3 and have an exceptionally happy dancer today. We've been very blessed - Yes for JA's and now yes for her first summer school with RB. Those of you that got No's don't give up, I know its tough and the waiting for the email yesterday was like torture. My dd went to OPES residential last year as she wasn't old enough to apply for Royal and loved it. Every audition, every class, every workshop gives our kids the opportunity to learn, even if they don't carry on with dancing in the future. x

    Thank you for the replies to my question - my dd is wanting to try to audition for YBS, she has a list of summer schools she wants to try for! Lol

    I've been looking at this one too, but like many others one of the weeks is when we are still at school - does anyone know where we stand on this? Can a headteacher authorise this as educated off site?

    Morning all. Quick random question for those that have their school reports. How are the auditons/workshops/dance exams counted by your school? Authorised absence or educational visit? Thanks in advance x
