    There were about 30 JA's at recalls last year. 2 boys and the rest girls.

    My son is also on week 2 BoyOhBoy and he has just turned 11. He went last year too and the boys from age 10-12 were all in one group so sounds like they will be together? We haven't had any paperwork yet though?!

    No idea how many in each group but my ds is also group 2 at Elmhurst on the Monday applying for year 7

    We had a yes for finals. DS was very pleased. Result came on Wednesday so very fast!

    My son did NYB as a JA last year. I would guess there were about 30 of them at the finals and there were about 5 boys and 20 girls? in the JA dance but I think 4 of the boys were older and didn't audition as JA's, not sure about the girls. He loved it and is auditioning agin on the 14th Feb.

    No news from Tring for us and not in today's post either. Luckily ds is fairly relaxed about it all! Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

    It doesn't specify on ours either amos73. It just says pink tights for girls and unitard or tights for boys.

    They are doing Coppelia this time thewinelake. Both boys really looking forward to it as the eldest ds wasn't old enough last time they came down our way!

    Both of my ds's are auditioning for EYB this year. It will be my younger ones first ever audition for anything - any hints or tips? He is only 8 and grade 2 so worried it may be a little hard! Can anyone give any info on what the audition involves? Thanks.

    JupiterSmith Bath experience day is on January 24th.

    My middle ds is going to the JA experience day in Bath. These days are a great chance to discover what a JA class is about and the focus and concentration needed on a weekly basis if they were lucky enough to get a space in the future. He has watched his brothers JA class but needs to experience it for himself. The applications opened last week on their website.

    We were there at 11.15 yesterday too! My ds had a great time and really enjoyed it. Good luck to everyone with the results.

    Thanks for the advice on what to wear. Shorts it is then. I have started dreaming of auditions now and am definitely more nervous than my DS is!

    Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and have enjoyed reading all the threads so far. My DS has his Elmhurst audition next week on November 3rd and was wondering if he should wear shorts or tights? He is auditioning for year 7. Do they have a preference? Any advice appreciated!
