Fingers crossed for us this year then! No finals again for year 8, DD would love to get Mids.

DD didn’t get finals for year 7 last year (was RBS JA for 3 years) But did get short waiting list for Mids, no place became available though! I'm sure others on here will know of DC’s that did get MA places after a no to finals though! 😀

No to finals for WL year 8, but DD has Elmhurst finals and Tring funding audition to look forward to, so not the slightest bit upset!! Well done to the yes’s, sorry if it’s a no. 😀

Umm, the cost was a 'surprise' for us too!! I only knew of this as I over heard another parent at the audition talking about it!!

Back in March we felt really sad that DD didn't get finals for WL, then being placed on RBS Mids wait list followed by another wait list, but no place became available on either. But now good news! A place on the Elmhurst young dancers programme for year 7! You know I'm a great believer in things that are meant to be. 💜 Tonight I have one very happy DD, and one happy me!!

Had the pleasure of watching Ballet Central this evening at the fabulous Chipping Norton theatre, these guys are amazing, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, well done to Ballet Central, a truly professional performance. -

A lovely post dramascientist but on the flip side it's also hard to share disappointment. My DD has been a JA for two and half years, didn't get finals-was completely devastated. Has returned to her JA class to 'find out' who got finals, smile and congratulate them but at the same time deal with her own 'rejection'. Now finals are complete she returns to that class again, this time to see those wonderful DD's celebrate their success in gaining a place, one of them is a very dear friend, this is so hard for her, she is amazing, and she will move on, we have plans in place, but for now her little world has crumbled.

My DD's result from her London audition two years ago came on the 12th of June at 4.30.

So sad, my DD was taught by Mary at Tring, even though she's only young she made a big impression on her, a lovely lady. Sending our love to you and her family.

Southerndancemum, Loulabelle, my daughter is a JA and attends CBA, when we accepted the places we informed them both of our daughter's intention to attend both, and so far haven't had any problems x

DD says coaching is like lessons where you learn different steps etc and then she does body conditioning for 3/4 hour stretching etc, just enjoy it all! X
