  1. Thank you everyone! So lovely to get a yes.
  2. It's for year 7. Have had a form for financial information too. We are awaiting Tring and Elmhurst results with Tring being our first choice.
  3. DD auditioned for Hammond on Monday and we have had an offer of a place today. So pleased and can't believe how quickly we have heard!
  4. My DD loved it last year. I know of older children who went too and also loved it. I haven't heard of anybody who's hasn't enjoyed it and learnt a lot
  5. They emailed this week. Worrying now that it may just be a follow up email from one before audition and maybe DD's school just hadn't responded. Going to have to ask tomorrow now!!!
  6. Tring have emailed DD school for references. Does anybody know if I can view this positively??
  7. Yes my DS will try. It will be for a year 4 place so just going for the class really with no expectations.
  8. My DS auditioned on 18th May this year so if unsuccessful this time look again for May/June time. My DD was unsuccessful first time but was successful second time and I know of others that also had a similar experience. Try again. Good luck though for this time and fingers crossed you get a yes this time.
  9. Happymum I'm glad your DD felt it went quite well and she enjoyed the audition. 4 weeks..... I hope it's not that long my nerves won't be able to take it!! It does make sense though as the next audition isn't until 24th November so they may see everybody before making a decision. Fingers crossed!
  10. Happymum I hope it went well today. My DD had her audition on Monday. She said she enjoyed it and she felt it went well so now just to wait!! Did they indicate to you how long the results would take? I asked on the way out and was told about 2 weeks but that wasn't by the teaching staff. Good luck!!
  11. Yes it's age on 31st August 2015 as my DD is 10 and not 11 til July and she is in group 2 next Wednesday.
  12. Hi Happymum, my DD is auditioning for y7 on the 18th. I will probably have my 7 yr old DS with me too! We are at CBA on Sunday so will travel to Hammond from there for audition on 17th and then onto Elmhurst. No chance to drive all the way home to drop him off so he is going to have to have the time off school too!! Good luck to your DD Sashee.
  13. Audition dates aren't on their website yet. I sent the form off weeks ago as it's DD's top choice! Have sorted photos for others but that's as far as it has got. I do need to sort those other applications out.
  14. It all seems so real now! DD's audition date for the dance course has arrived. 3rd November. Now I am already feeling more stressed than I was before. Goodness knows how bad it will be on the actual audition day!
  15. It's lovely there. I am sure your DD will love it. DD been attending since Jan and it's DS's first class tomorrow too.
  16. Me too Celb Had to fill the whole form in just to find what photos were required! Next job to get them taken with no falling out with my daughter! At least they won't all need printing out.
  17. It now says online application from 15th
  18. I would say this was normal. In my day we all had massive trunks!! Not easy pulling those up to top floor mansion. 2 cases will be much easier. Don't worry, enjoy it.. Your dd will love it.
  19. Thank you everybody for your help. I did think coloured, socks, etc but it is so good to have that confirmation from others on here. I just wish it was all over already!!
  20. http://www.photoboxgallery.com/twoashes/collection?album_id=2736674776 That's the link. Hopefully it will work. There isn't a password so all the photos should come straight up x
  21. My 10 year old dd will be auditioning this year. I am undecided whether she should wear a black or coloured leotard for her auditions? What do you all think?
  22. Have you seen that the photos are now online? I agree, I hope that it continues to be a huge success. My dd is determined to go for 3 weeks next year! We shall have to discuss that one. She is very excited that Peter and Shannon are on Got to Dance
  23. The students on the course where from everywhere on the planet. It's was brilliant. Most of them had questions to ask him. Steven was so entertaining and honest.
  24. I meant to post about this before to let people know but have been so busy I completely forgot! Sorry! I took DS to Steven McRae's talk at RAD headquarters today. It was well worth the 7 hours of travelling!! I must be mad! Anyway, what a lovely man. Full of tips and advice on dealing with nerves, class etc. My DS was on cloud 9 and Steven was very happy to sign autographs at the end for everybody. I really would urge anybody to go if they ever get the chance. What a lovely, lovely day.
  25. Thanks Lemongirl. No news from my dd again today! It's a good job she didn't try to call as I took DS to the Steven McRae talk at RAD headquarters. We have only just got in. It was fantastic! Well worth the trip but I am not looking forward to another long day tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing dd and the performance and hopefully, eventually hearing all about the week from her and not here! Ha ha So pleased they are having a great time. I will have DS with me tomorrow, he is 7, but very small! Would be good to say hi!
