  1. I have one in Scotland and one going to White Lodge. Dd went to Central as an associate, was going to audition this year for Central but decided to stay at Ballet West in Scotland to do her BA Hons as they do a lot more ballet and do tours from 1st year. The best thing is to have a list with two columns with goods and not so goods things about the school and area. Thats what we did and Scotland won.
  2. My ds going as well, tell dd to look out for the ginger one!
  3. I have lost both my children. Ds starts WL in Sept and dd left for Ballet West last Sept. i don't know what I an going to do without them. Dad was really upset and still is with dd going and today at WL hit him losing ds. Little tear in his eyes. Ds.....can't wait to go!

    Uniform costs

Yes I remember now black for RAD Advance 1 about 2 years ago. Didn't notice that material was any different though. Nice all the same.
  17. My first ballet was through my dc ballet teacher (who taught Miyako Yoshida in Japan) told me to take my dd to watch a ballet. A couple of years later ds got into RB at age of 8 and Christopher Wheeldon picked him to be the first Hedgehog in Alice Adventures of Wonderland. Then he did Sleeping Beauty, Prince of Pagodas, Alice again and Swan Lake at ROH and Don Quixote with Milkhailsky Ballet. Watched each one more than once as we lived in Oxford then and just wondering around Covent Garden, became hooked on ballet. Sons fault!
  18. Red Bridge Park and Ride
  19. Does anyone know if they filmed Don Quixote as my ds was in all performances this year at the Coli?
  20. Nice walk from train station as long as it doesn't rain. But all us mums used Park and Ride 5/10 mins tops.
