YDA did have some host families for dc

Of course but I know one boy came in from Tring. With the underground spreading out throughout London and further afield it could be possible for some like my ds

Gingerbread My ds went along for evening classes and Anna offered him a scolarship in YDA. Have you enquired before you think it is out of your reach. Never know

Her dd so deserves a place. She has worked so hard and raised money herself through her own personality and mum's determination!

YDA is one. There are some WL dc who were assessed out, injured or didn't like being away from home there.

My ds will be there!!!

For Theatre Arts Scholarships

My ds is going to WL as a few of his friends have got in. He is only 11 miles away so he could come home at weekends or take him out for Sunday Lunch.

Had anybody heard yet?

When my ds or dd applied for auditions, summer schools or workshops they always asked what grade and result. They never did festivals, teachers didn't like them. Did RAD workshops and Genee. Always got distingtion in exams though. Didn't have time for festivals with Associate classes on saturdays!

Oh he also did Street Dance twice a week and tap and moden once a week for the last 3 years before YDA.

My son had 1 lesson a week from age 4 until he got into JA's. then he got into YDA last Sept having 6 lessons in ballet plus JA's sat.

Your Dd will love it at YDA. She'll be in Nutcracker at Xmas at the Bloomsbury Theatre. My ds has got into WL and I thank YDA for that!

By the way the evenlope was A4, flat and one mum nearly threw hers away thinking it was a circular. No sign of RBS on it at all.

I haven't seen my ds yet but I will leave it up to him. Anna do Boisson is leaving their door open for him if he goes. Silly not to give it ago I suppose. Thats both my children left/leaving me as a Ballet Widow!!!!

And of course congratualations to all that got a yes and for those who got a no, you have under a year to show RBS you can do it next year!!!
