Letters are out for 1st March auditions, although my ds has not rec'd his yet, but his friend got a no today:(

After 2 weeks. My ds and 3 other JA's did a lec dem at WL yesterday and the staff there remembered them from before Christmas couldn't believe how they had matured. Surely they should have given that child a bit longer than 2 weeks before saying they made a mistake. Got through auditions?

Good luck to year 7's as well!!!! Don't read into anything. They would like all of you but only have space for 12. If you don't get in this time keep working hard for the next audition and don't give up!

To Proud Mum, how can RBS take someone in on just physique and not audition them on talent? Was this Associates, WL or Upper School?

YDA/WLSD Associates Saturdays from 12 to 3pm termly £300 for the term. body conditioning ballet class and rep students can audition on saturdays during the spring term. Tel: 020 8743 3856

Thanks Charlie4dancin. I have always told my dc that there is always someone out there better than you. At the moment ds was surprised he got to finals. As long as there are great dance schools out there for our dc to go to that is great. WL is just the cherry on the cake.

Mine is blue as well

We haven't really discussed my ds audition next Friday. Its just the day that determines whether he gets into WL or not. If he get in he gets in, if not will try again next year. Haven't even told him he is in blue group. I have however told him causally that they might ask him questions about books and pets. His reply...ok.

My ds has talked to Yasmine at the ROH when doing Swan Lake. He mentioned YDA and WLSD and he is at the stage she was at his age. Loving YDA and WLSD just like Y did!

My daughter never did the competitions, it wasn't her thing. The way to get your face out there is to do the workshops or summer schools.

Just been asked by a mum about associate classes at YDA. Where they held? What times? What classes? Who teaches?

Discouraged, if RBS is no you have a good chance of getting into Central. I know a couple who got into Central from RBS. Fingers crossed!

YDA are auditioning now for Associate classes. If it wasn't for them I don't think mu ds would have got finals next week at White Lodge.

I don't know if you know but YDA have an Associate classe. Some girls from RBS use to go to RBS and YDA every other week. They are now full time at YDA. If chikdren are coming to YDA from WL it must be good

Has anyone got a ds/dd who got in last year? Do the ds/dd have to be interviewed and if so what questions are asked? Any tips?
