    I saw this on Facebook yesterday, a bit of a wait but I am looking forward to it already. We're excited to announce MADDADDAM, a new ballet from Wayne McGregor inspired by the works of Margaret Atwood with music by Max Richter. The ballet will be premiered by The National Ballet of Canada this November, and have its UK premiere with The Royal Ballet in 2022

    REPEAT Royal Ballet: The Nutcracker A young girl's enchanted present leads her on a wonderful Christmas adventure in this beautiful classical ballet, danced to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score. Wednesday 19th February on Sky Arts from 6:00am to 8:00am This is all the imformation I have at the moment, no information on when or who is dancing yet.

    REPEAT Elizabeth Carlos Acosta and Zenaida Yanowsky take centre stage at the Royal Opera House in Will Tuckett's production of dance, music and theatre that explores the loves of Queen Elizabeth I. Saturday 8th February on Sky Arts from 6:00am to 7:35am

    It was pretty full. People around me were saying that it was not what was expected but that they liked it. While it is a work with flaws, (due I imagine to the serious illness of Kibwe, the director, half way through) I came away moved and I definitely plan to see more of Rambert's work. Also, while I do not do well with loud music but the ear plugs worked very well.

    On the way back from this interesting ballet/dance. A mix of film and live dance on the themes of loss and refugees. The film told the story and the dance the emotion. I am left travelling home with the rhythm, small staccato moves and thoughts of what it it is like to lose so much and yet the expression of it becomes beautiful.

    Thank you Pas de Quatre and Alison. I thought it wasn't streamed for 24 hours, not that it would disappear. Disappointed but hopeful that I will be able to see it some time in the future.

    I have tried signing in to the bolshoi ballet page and it isn't showing Giselle, can anyone help please? Nor can I find it on youtube. I was unable to see it on Sunday and I do hope that doesnt' mean I have missed compleatly.

    Glad you enjoyed it, I did too when I saw it last time it was showed. Do you have the date, is it at the end? Then it could be searched for on the web. I think when I watched it I took photo's of the cast list at the end and then I could refer back to them.

    I agree it could be so much better. I wonder if the Friday showing is not on the wesite yet as it is over a week away? This is the link I use to search Sky Arts for ballet shows. I can't remember how I got hold of it.     I have no wish to be racist, though it may well be that I accidentally am. Could you please say which comments were racist so I can be sure to express myself differently another time.

    It is a pleasure and I am so glad you enjoyed it. I enjoy being able to share the experience. As I am new to ballet I had not come across Mikayo before and I found her dancing entrancing. I imagine this is one I will keep and watch again.
