    Thanks flexible Fred, he auditioned on the 13th for rbs, and tore the muscle in his groin at the end so his tring audition on the 15th didn't go well, but really hoping for good news from tring or he will be a very sad boy:(

    We have just had an email from rbs and it's a no for my ds he will be disappointed but he has only been dancing for 4 years and so he never imagined he would actually get in, but you have to hope!!

    Thanks, would be nice if they did look past it ds audition was on 15th Jan and they said it would be a few weeks

    Yes, we are waiting although not holding out much hope as ds tore his groin on the wed before his Friday audition at tring and so was very upset as he couldn't do his best

    Apparently not filmed, my ds also said she was writing but that she was glancing up as she wrote, he said he was too busy concentrating to really see what she was doing!! He also described the academic test to me and it definitely sounded like more of a common sense/finishing sentences thing.

    Thank you for your replies. I have discussed with him and decided he isn't ready to live independently yet so will hold off on these for another year. Thanks for the info:)

    Hello, i have searched for info but cant find it so apologies if this post is in the wrong place. Does anyone have any experience of where the students live when they attend ENBS or Central. My DS wants to audition for both (almost out of time for central so need to get a move on!!) but i am concerned about living arrangements as he will only just be 16. Does anyone know anything. Thank you

    I think the current year 11 students go straight through to finals and audition with the ones from preliminary auditions

    Thank you, the date came through today, going to be expensive as have to be in bath on 13 jan and tring on 15 jan so will need 2 nights in a hotel!!

    My ds is auditioning for Torquay tonight, he did it last time they were down here and loved every minute even though he had only been doing ballet for 2 months when he auditioned, he learnt so much it was brilliant

    My son has just started rad advanced foundation and he said there wasn't anything that they were asked to do that he didn't know, there were 4 on the panel.

    I was there yesterday with my son, he also seemed very nervous and looked exhausted at the bit parents got to watch. I was amazed at the standard of some of the dancers and my ds certainly wasn't dancing as well as he does in his lessons.

    I have loads of boys dance wear I would like to sell, mostly ballet, from approx. age 10 -14. White and black leotards, black ballet and jazz shoes, tap shoes, blue leggings, black jazz pants. If anyone is interested in more info please let me know

    Thanks everyone, he finally made some friends on the Tuesday and had an amazing time, the Showing of work was wonderful, he now wants to audition for 6th form there xx

    He is really really shy and spent the evening sat in his room on his own as he wasn't sure where everyone was. Hopefully he will get chatting to people in class today

    Ds safely delivered but he is a bit worried as all the boys seem to know each other already. Does anyone know if they get to mix with the girls very much, he doesn't really hang out with boys!!

    I have a question regarding what they need to take. In the letter it said black track suit, do you think just black trousers and jumper will be okay as ds doesn't have any 'track suits'. Also, do they have to wear a leotard every day or can boys wear shorts and t shirt? Just not sure what to send him with. He normally dances in a fitted t shirt and cycle type shorts. Thank you
