There is Midland Theatre Ballet, but as the name suggests it is in the midlands. It's a year long project (term time) which culminates in a full length ballet. Ages 7-19. They are holding auditions end of Feb but on their website will always see DC's outside of auditions X

I see on Midland Theatre Ballet's Facebook page that their evening performance on March 19th is to celebrate their 5th anniversary and to raise funds for paralympian Piers Gilliver on his route to Rio 2016. They also have guest dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet and English National Ballet dancing alongside this years cast, how exciting!

Just be super vigilant about what is being posted, following/followers etc. Once a picture is posted on social media it is there forever, I tell my 15yr old this all the time, so she is super careful and all her accounts are private and monitored.

LinMM I asked her school for leave earlier on in the year to attend and was told a resounding no. DD is however attending OPES again and is excited about that. Do feel a bit that it's aimed at a particular audience, never mind!

Would have loved to apply for DD but she is still at school when it starts, the same goes for RBS. I expect this applies to a lot of children that attend state and some private schools. What a shame, maybe next year!

Although aesthetically pleasing to look at, my DD has swaybacks, but with it comes enormous problems too!

Hi lilac They are generally split into three groups with age ranges approx: Juniors -little ones up to about age 10 -11 ish Inters- about age 12-14 ish Seniors-age 15+ There is normally movement within the groups too. They are very good at putting the kids who are on their own together and integrate everyone so they get to know other friendship groups too. It is with huge delight ( and a few nerves) thst I announce I am starting a very new Annual Easter Course called Malvern Ballet Seminars (MBS). It is residential in the beautiful school Malvern St James in Worcestershire. We have the amazing faculty of Samira Saidi ( Director of English National Ballet School) Fiona Brockway( Royal Ballet/ Hammond Alain Dubriel ( Former Principal BRB/ BRB Ballet Master) and this wonderful man called Errol Pickford ( Former Principal of Royal/Graduate teacher at Elmhurst ) I am also delighted to announce Sarah Lamb, Principal of the Royal Ballet will be Patron for MBS.
