  1. My dd has done EYB a couple of times and has loved every minute of it, it's a great experience! Enjoy!
  2. Same email for us, will remain on priority list for now!
  3. It's good to hear people's experiences, things always change over the years but it's nice to know if people do recommend a certain associate scheme. I understand they are in addition but would rather send my dd to one where children are thriving. I believe York have about 22 per class.
  4. fingers crossed the waiting shouldn't be much longer! The waiting is killing me!
  5. Thank you flora11, does anyone know what the set up is at Manchester please?
  6. Do the children get taught in their separate year groups eg all year 7 together? I know at my dd audition there were about 30 in her audition class, pretty tough if only 1 or 2 places!
  7. Lilac fairy, what do you mean about no comparison, is the northern one the better one to go for?
  8. Whoops sorry posted the above post in wrong place!
  9. I believe making the finals at rbs has no bearing or priority on being offered an Ma place, it really is dependent on how many places they have each year
  10. Do you have to apply every year to keep your Ma place or just get assessed wherever you go?
  11. Thanks angel. I wonder how many new girls get offered a place in the MA class each year and how many there generally us per class? Any current MA s know?
  12. Sorry i meant waiting list places for the summer school or are we not likely to hear anything of no places come up?
  13. Has anyone heard anything from the waiting list yet ?
  14. Hi, do the current ma girls already know if they have a place next year or do they find out at the same time as those that auditioned? Thanks
  15. I can imagine the pressure on children and parents can be immense, it makes sense totally what we were told yesterday that the year 7s have only been there a few months and so righfully no decision should be made this year for them and the deciding years would be year 8 and 9. We had a lovely day yesterday and never expected to even be there for a second. Even if we would have known there wereno places before hand I still would have gone and taken my dd. well done to the year 7s, they were so friendly and polite and left lovely messages. It would be amazing to learn there could be a place and I'm sure my dd will keep dreaming!
  16. I understand there were places for the other years eg 9, 10 etc but y8 being the hardest to get into.
  17. Perhaps lema! I guess some discover it perhaps isn't for them.
  18. No, think it could be something new, they said its unfair to assess any out in first year as too soon to tell.
  19. Yes, we were told no y7 will be assessed out.
  20. Hi sorry what I meant is, this too I believe was the case last year for those going for a y8 place, and none were offered a place. Y7s no longer get assessed out in their first year there.
