Thanks everyone, great day and experience, won't give too much away as I don't want to spoil it for you. My dd thoroughly enjoyed but as vonrothbart and others suggested in previous posts there are no y8 places available which is most disappointing. Good luck to all those next Friday! Enjoy!

Does anyone know please whether the year 8,9,10 and 11 girls at the rbs finals are all judged together as I know they are all in the same audition class or will they be aware of who is from each year group and know which year group they may have a place in. Or is it simply a case of having 1 bed available and choosing any girl from any year group? Thanks

My daughter is in green group which says years 8,9,10,11 girls.

Dancing in the rain, well done to your dd, I agree with you with regards the music and dance scheme awards, the financial side is a big concern. Some may think we're jumping the gun but I've had to pre warn my dd that even if she gets offered a place unless there is financial help she sadly wont be able to go. There is a calculator tool on the rb website but I'm not sure how accurate this is and whether every child is entitled to this. Maybe they only give so many out, it's not clear. Did I alsocread some peoples letters said when the Ma results were out?

Thank you spanner and pony, I was aware of this thread but couldn't see anything in particular that relates to the rbs white lodge finals? If anyone can ease help answer any of my questions posted above please, now thread number 24, I would be really grateful, thank you!

COuld anyone please tell me what we can expect at the RBS/White Lodge lower school finals for year 8 please? Are all year groups invited on the same day, do they take a class together etc and how the day is structured? Also, how long do you have to wait to get the dreaded emails? Thanks
