    Hope the Elmhurst auditions went well for everyone today, now the wait! If you get invited back to the next audition is it just for funding or is it still to decide places?

    My dd will not wear her MA leotard for other auditions, last year there were some ja wearing their white one. Dd just wore a big standard one last year when we apied for ma.

    It's tricky, dd wore a dark colour for first audition and then an unusual stand out colour for finals. But she always had a belt.

    Tell your dd not to worry, the audition itself was fairly basic last year and the panel are all very friendly. She shouldn't worry, just enjoy it.

    Just the first one for us, I did notice the majority seemed to be associates, especially in the younger class.

    I don't think these master classes are a pre audition. No one from white lodge was at the Danish masterclass - their decisions for finsls will come from the auditions themselves in January. It sounds like this masterclass was perhaps more challenging?

    Well done to all those who auditioned! It's really great news to get a yes, equally to the nos, it can be a difficult time - maybe it's just not the right time right yet, so don't give up! It's all good experience. We have ours at the end of the month at Elmhurst and it's our first time auditioning here, does anyone know how many year 8 and 9 make finals? Thanks

    That is awful, surely that would be a conversation to be had in private? I'm interested to learn which school this is.

    I think elmhurst date depends what year, maybe contact them if it's been a while.

    Can anyone tell me do ma's have to reapply for next year or do they definitely get assessed during their time there? Thanks

    On the photo req page it says if 13 by aug 31 these are the photos, - there was one on pointe in the set, but when I filled the online form in it asked for the younger set of photos, one of them is side view etc

    Has anyone noticed the photo requirements are different on the main Rbs photo req page to the ones it then asks you to submit whilst filling in the form online? I'm totally confused now and took the photos in advance before- which do I submit? !

    For those that live close to London yes the early start on a Sunday will suit most but living more than a couple of hours away makes it harder. Also I didn't want to book a hotel the night before until I knew for definite, now even premier inns are £150 for the night.

    It's seems strange to put these classes on so early when the first train into London doesn't get there till 10:07! Am starting to hope dd doesn't get offered a place now.

    Wondering if we will find out tomorrow, my only concern is there are no trsins early enough to get to London in time for the first class? Oh well, will cross that bridge if dd gets a place!
