So what is the ideal Hight for men? I'm confused!

Well done to all that made the finals for Rbs. I'm not jealous one bit. If my dd didn't get into any school then maybe a little but in a nice way. It's not the end of the road but the beginning, my dd is only 10! The no letter from the Rbs was very nice and explained what they are looking for and that it may of been only one criteria that didn't fit and to try again as kids develop at different rates. Fingers crossed for everyone xxx

It's a no for Rbs for us.Not upset one bit.After visiting Elmhurst she loved it and was more concerned about getting to finals for them. Tring said today that they will contact us at the end of next week with results. I'm sure the London letters will be out tomorrow or the next day so good luck everyone.

RBS Lower School Auditions for 2014 Entry

Dancing2003, We were in the 2.12 audition too.My dd was very relaxed and enjoyed it.She made friends with a couple of the ja girls who were very nice to her. -
My dd had a very nice time at the Elmhurst audition today,she has not stopped smiling.. Not sure weather there where older girls in the group as they where quite tall and wearing tights. Very nice school and great teachers. Off to London soon for the next audition.

Just out of interest,what are they doing when patents watch?

Lots of kids can do multiple turns and tricks and are flexible, that does not mean they are suited to classical ballet training.Ballet pirouettes are in a different league.I believe that you dont need to be able to do quadruple at such a young age.My dd can do multiple turns but only a double ballet pirouette.Did they have to do pirouettes in the audition? good luck with the next audition pas de chat xxx

Thank you all for the kind wishes and support. My dd is feeling better today. What upsets me is that nobody over here seems to understand how important and exciting these auditions are to my dd.People dont take her seriously about wanting to go to vocational dance school that is also boarding.So more people were happy thinking she wouldnt be able to go to audition after all. We will be able to film the rest of the dvd next friday lucky enough,just in time before we come over. Thanks again xxx

spannerandpony, the first on was in a sports lesson,the second a door and the worst was at break time while playing a sports game with much older girls.She got thrown in the air and landed backwards on the head!
