  1. I phoned the BO. My details were taken. I was told they were awaiting instructions from Mr Schaufuss re 'options' and I would hear by Monday.
  2. The email also says, 'If you have any concerns you should contact the Coliseum Box Office'.
  3. The Coliseum Box Office have sent an email to ticket holders informing them of the cast changes. As well as Sergei it says, 'Igor Zelensky has returned to Russia. The role of the Jailor will be danced by Johan King Silverhult'.
  4. Ian - I do not think this is a repeat of last year. (And last year he did tell Monica Mason he was leaving) Peter Schaufuss was very 'slippery' in his response to questions on BBC Breakfast this morning. Very disingenuous. He is claiming that Sergei left without a word and he is not in his hotel room. When asked, ' Was there any indication there was a problem?' he spoke of his first contact with Sergei sometime last year.....The BBC interviewer asked, 'Shouldn't you be trying to find him?' A good question if Sergei had left without a word. According to PS Sergei is a 'missing person'. He said nothing of Igor Zelensky.
  5. I've got the DonQ blu ray disc. Superb dancing! Gailene Stock (Director of the Royal Ballet School) is one of Kitri's friends - and her husband Gary Norman who teaches at the RBS leads the Fandango! - Terrific!
  6. It would appear Igor Zelensky was back in Russia when the story broke. Mr Shaufuss needs to 'come clean'. He is giving this story a 'spin' (the bad boy does it again) with no mention of Igor Zelensky. It would seem Igor and Sergei left together. For the same reason?
  7. It seems that he has vanished. Did he speak to anyone? What of Igor Zelensky? What clue in his hotel room? Police?
  8. I agree - Denis Matvienko and Oksana Bondareva were also superb. What a wonderful Easter weekend!
  9. Many defendants have claimed that their TV was only used to watch ITV. I don't think this has ever been accepted by the courts.
  10. Offer valid until 8 April www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk Online Code - OLTEXPRESS
  11. Sim wrote, 'I think there was a techical problem with the moving tree (and the one at the back of the stage); it isn't supposed to go up and down like a yo-yo, so hopefully that will be fixed for the next performance.' I think the moving trees are part of the special effects. (Unfortunately)
  12. Signed confession? After torture, perhaps?
  13. In his review of M&A Gerald Dowler wrote, 'Sergei Polunin left (the RB) to find himself'. He seems to be making good progress. I wish him well.
  14. Can't make 22nd. If anyone hears of any future London showings.............
  15. I've recently picked up flyers for Midnight Express, Boston Ballet and Russian Seasons from the Coliseum foyer. The ENO website contains information and online booking for all visiting companies.
  16. Yet, the critics are divided re Tamara's performance.
  17. Look under 'Housing' - then 'Repossession by your Landlord's mortgage lender'.
  18. Hello Barry, I raised a concern earlier in this thread about the 'blinding' light from the pianist's music - In The Night. Any thoughts about that? The starry backdrop makes the glare more prominent.
